Reebok needs to go ahead and try to buy out his UA contract + offer him MAJOR money b/c he'd lose his Affliction and Hayabusa sponsorships as well.

To appease the UFC. The UFC needs, NEEDS a major headliner for 200. At this point? With Conor vs DIaz II tentatively looking like a no go, they're not even going to sniff UFC 100 numbers.


It would be a major embarrassment for the UFC AND their sponsor (Reebok) to fall short of 1 million PPV buys. Nobody buying those trash *** Reebok Fight Kit jerseys. Nobody. They need someone to officially be the face of this whole Reebok line and GSP would be a no-brainer.

ufc is the one who enforces the wardrobe / fight gear rules I think. They're the ones who fine fighters for not wearing reebok stuff. Maybe if they wanted to they could just give gsp a contract where he coukd wear whatever brands he wants in the cage.

Nobody said that at all. I said that Reebok should look into buying out GSP's current sponsors.


Casuals don't mess with GSP? Is that why he's been apart of 6 of the top 20 UFC PPVs (including UFC 100)?


Obviously he isn't the draw McGregor was, but after his extended sabbatical, you're tripping if you don't think casuals will tune in for his return.
