Not sure if conor will fight again before the birth of his child? If not and he takes 6 months off after the birth?? Looking at about a year off then. Next fight for conor will be a title fight for a belt that is currently not his.

Wouldn't even be surprised if the UFC bends over backwards and lets him keep the belt without fighting for a year
 
As for the rest of the records broken at UFC 205, here's a full list of what unfolded (statistics provided by the UFC)

Live gate: $17.7 million — new UFC record and new Madison Square Garden record. The previous record was UFC 129, which had a $12 million live gate with over 55,000 in attendance for Georges St-Pierre vs. Jake Shields in Toronto.

Attendance: 20,247 — new domestic UFC record for the United States. Previous record was UFC 171 in Dallas, TX with a reported 19,324 in attendance.

Weigh-in Attendance: 15,480 — new global UFC record

Social media: 14 billion impressions — most in UFC history

Closed circuit (commercial pay-per-view) — highest performing in UFC history in both locations and gross revenue. No figures reported.

FS1 prelims: Most viewed pay-per-view prelims in FS1 history for the 18-49 demographic.

FOX: 2.4 million viewers for "Fighting for History" special focused on UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor. Most viewed preview show in UFC history.

Bro, they absolutely aren't going to strip him of any belt let's be real lol

I could possibly see them doing Nate/Conor III or the Woodley fight before the baby, which is due in May, IF, IF the UFC offers him a boatload of cash (instead of the getting a stake in the company)

But they aren't taking any belts regardless. If he sits out until next summer it won't warrant them stripping him
 
FS1 Prelims overall was the third most viewed PPV prelims (the 1st and 2nd were Conor cards too)

The one that White said he didn't know about, the ratings record for the FOX Sport 1 prelims, didn't fall, as the show headlined by Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens and also featuring Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Michael Johnson did 1,801,000 viewers. The number was the third largest for a pay-per-view prelims in FS1 history, only trailing prelims for two other shows headlined by Conor McGregor.

The record remains 1,931,000 prior to UFC 194, where McGregor won the featherweight title from Jose Aldo. Saturday night's show was also slightly behind the prelims before UFC 196, which was the first McGregor vs. Nate Diaz fight, which did 1,843,000 viewers. It finished slightly above the comparably loaded prelims to UFC 200, which did 1,768,000 viewers.

Finally watched the main card.

Miesha Tate looked off, slow. It was probably good she took the time off. She should've taken a Cyborg super fight versus the Pennington fight. It would've made money. And it could've set up a showdown with Nunes.

Man, BW will be a skeleton of what it was once Ronda retires as well. The division was already thin. Straw weight is definitely starting to come up...but there's no real challenger to the champ.

Joannachamp was a beast as usual. But KK came back in the 4 and 5th. Joanna showed composure when she got clipped. Yeah, it'll be better if they highlight the other women like PVZ, Rose, Grasso, etc. Too bad there's not a 125 women's division for JJ to move up to.

Yoel washed Weidman. Weidman won the first round. He was using his wrestling along with varied strikes. But Romero showed Chris there's level to this ish. He outclassed him in grappling. And Chris' takedown became predictable and Yoel killed him.

The water incident was dubious. This dude cannot avoid controversy.

Had Woodley/Wonderboy as a draw. WB won rounds 2, 3 and 5 10-9. While Woodley had a 10-8 in the fourth and a 10-9 first.

Eddie's strategy was poor. He attempted a few takedowns and clinched once against the Cage. But the stand up was disparate. Coach Kavannagh was correct in Eddie's boxing/striking. It just wasn't close even with the foot and hand issues Connor has. Connor definitely has four solid matchups at FW and LW. I think they should setup interim fights with Khabib/Ferguson and Aldo/Max. He's not going to be as active as he was this year.

And the UFC being held back by FS1. The Fox deal was awful. I feel like leaving Spike was a downgrade.

Like I said before, Conor is at a point where he can do whatever the hell he wants. He needs to fight Woodley for the trifecta. 

We are truly witnessing greatness here. I'm done rooting against Conor (except for Nate). Just gotta sit back and enjoy the ride. 

Everything he's doing now, is what Jon Jones should have already done. Period. 
 
I'll never be able to root for Conor because I don't like the character, but I can wholeheartedly appreciate his skill/talent at this point. I just hope we get to see him fight the toughest fights and showcase his skill, as opposed to sit and wait for him to pick and choose.

Technical destruction similar to when Holm made Rousey look like a compete amateur. Holm's win was more satisfying to me because Rousey has/had a similar insufferable personality to Conor.
 
Hopefully the blow doesn't catch up to Conor like it did Limp Bones
