Just watched last nights fights, that Ortega dude is sick. Very entertaining to watch.

Never been a fan of dustin. I cringe watching his robotic standup. Plus that piece of crap connor talked so much garbage about him and he went out and got destroyed.

Dustin does seem "stiff" to me and I love Diamond, he's one of my favorite fighters

The stiffness leads him vulnerable to getting struck. If you go back and watch his last 5 or so fights you'll see him getting hit even in his wins. I have a feeling he will get dealt with by the top of the division

Other than that the dude seems to just not like Dustin for whatever other reasons

I think I just became a Werdum fan 

at "I like women, not jiu-jitsu"

Fabricio Werdum went to the beach with Larissa, his girlfriend at the time, and her family and friends. But when they got there, Marcos, Larissa’s ex-boyfriend, was waiting for them. Werdum knew that "Marquinhos", as they used to call him, still had a crush on Larissa, but wasn’t bothered about it. Marcos had other plans.

Marcos was a jiu-jitsu practitioner, and Werdum had no idea what jiu-jitsu was.

"I guess he wanted to embarrass me in front of her and her entire family," Werdum recalls, "so he challenged me to fight him in a jiu-jitsu match right there at the beach."

At first, Werdum said no. "I like women, not jiu-jitsu," he told Marcos. Larissa, for unknown reasons, asked Werdum to take the challenge against the experienced opponent. She probably knew Werdum would lose to her ex-boyfriend, but still wanted to see it happen.

"She told me to do it, that it would be fun, but I declined. I told her I had no idea what jiu-jitsu was, but she eventually convinced me to do it."

The match ended quickly, and Marcos only needed less than a minute to finish Werdum with a triangle choke. On the next day, still pissed off by the loss, Werdum visited Marcio Corletta’s gym Winner-Behring and started training jiu-jitsu.

Cain Velasquez apparently doesn’t see the humor inFabricio Werdum’s quip that he’s more Mexican than Velasquez himself.

One day after Werdum made the comment about the UFC heavyweight champion on UFC Embedded, the two crossed paths over breakfast at the JW Marriott. And when the interim champion went to shake Velasquez’s hand, the the latter wasn’t having it. 

"To me it seemed to be two-faced," Velasquez said at Wednesday’s UFC 188 open workouts at the Interactive Museum of Economics. "Don’t say something insulting to me. Stick to your guns. Don’t come up to me the next day and try to be buddy-buddy with me."

Velasquez’s comments came after Werdum gave his version of the events.

"Yesterday I saw Cain Velasquez at breakfast," Werdum told reporters. "I said hi, I shake hands with Daniel Cormier. ... When I shake hands with Cain Velasquez he said ‘no, no, I don’t want to shake your hand.’ I said why, he said ‘you talk about me, I don’t like that.’"

Werdum explained his "more Mexican" comment this way: Werdum, who has done Spanish language commentary for the UFC, has spent more time in the country than Velasquez, a Mexican-American born in the United States and raised in Salinas, Calif. 

"I just said that Cain Velasquez was born in the USA, he’s not from Mexico," Werdum said. "I said that I’ve come to Mexico a lot of times, maybe 20 times, I’ve stayed a long time for my fight, the last time I stayed two months here."

I think Werdum is ready to weather the storm early. If he happens to do so, I think we'll be in for a historical fight

IMO Werdum's been undefeated since 2008 (got KO'd by JDS)

I believe he beat Overeem. I have no clue why Werdum was fighting scared, he was clearly winning the stand up and I believe he even outstruck him

His striking is exceptional now with the help of Cordeiro, he isn't a big slow HW that Cain can just out-quick, A-1 BJJ, good cardio, smart....

I've long thought Cain was unbeatable. If he can shake off ring rust and the 2 year layoff and run through Werdum I will have to say Cain is one of the greatest fighters ever if he isn't already
