Cyborg also gets brought up a lot in her interviews. She's not just mentioning Cyborg out of nowhere. Cyborg pops mad **** about her too.
Ronda got too much leverage to move up in weight to fight a natural 145lber who is also a known drug user.

Cyborg should drop weight if she wants to fight her. Simple as that. Ronda's leverage makes it so that's how it has to be.
And while you and I may believe Cyborg would kill Ronda, I don't think she's scared of her. Based on what I've seen, she has bravado that wouldn't let her believe any woman (in her weight class) could beat her.
I do agree with your Cat Zingano point though. I think Cat just got caught. Cat is one of the few women I truly believe can beat Ronda.

The reason I say Ronda is running is because Ronda has consistently said she would welcome a catchweight fight with Carano. Like, smiling to be able to do that
It's obviously a cupcake win for Ronda so I get why she would be so open to that match, she can miss us with the "it'd be an honor to fight Gina"
I love Ronda, I just don't jive with her on this Cyborg thing. She talks like she can beat up Floyd but she won't fight the only other woman the world wants to see. This is the match to make, everyone knows it
The best the UFC can offer is a third rematch with Tate
Whether or not Cyborg can make 135, I wouldn't even want to see it because Cyborg might die making 135. If she made it, she'd be dehydrated for days. Even 140 would probably be a challenge but much more manageable
