I really like Weidman... I got a buddy that is close to his camp and I can confirm that those dudes have been confident that he'd be MW champ for a couple-few years now. I remember getting texts 2-3 years ago talking about how they were trying so hard to get a shot at a top level guy to really get on the map.
Can't decide who I want to win the fight though because I've liked Machida for a long time.

Pulling for Weidman in this one. Also a Machida fan, so a bit torn, but for some reason I want Weidman to take it.
Glad Frankie BJ is a "freebie" on Sunday though. I'll have to be sobering up by then.

Are people really clamoring for Penn Edgar III? Penn is irrelevant and I don't know why they are trying to force a third fight with them
If Edgar wins he shouldn't move up in the rankings at all

I don't think anyone really wanted to see Penn vs Edgar again but UFC didn't have any other options. From what I remembered, the first choice was Edgar vs Faber but something happened then Penn basically begged for the Edgar fight and talk about how he's motivated for it. Maybe we'll see a different BJ. He trained with Aldo and Barao for a while and even brought in Dolce to help with the weight cut. And with UFC missing some of their big stars you know they jumped on having BJ fight again.
These Sonnen fanboys are brutal on twitter. Going in on Dana and Brian Stann. All because he said UFC/Fox made the right decision and because more than likely he's gonna be the one replacing Chael on tv.

I can't believe that tj dillashaw is already giving him a rematch in aug too soon IMO. I would love penn to win but Edgar is gunna beat him. Rousey is still gunna be champ no problem and as for weidman vs machida I'm completely torn since I grew up in LI I have to root for the hometown hero but I'm extremely biased to pride fighters I wouldn't mind seeing machida do it one more time though

My heart says Machida, but my mind says 50-50. Really excited for this match cause I don't know what will happen.

i think machida is a bad match up for weidman, but he likely wont do enough to take the belt via decision.
