If McGregor has the foresight to match the bravado, he's addressing his wrestling and takedown defense in particular. McGregor's only 2 losses are by submission, albeit much earlier in his career. Conor allegedly just received his brown belt in BJJ, but let's be honest, he's not out-grappling the likes of Aldo, Cub, Edgar, or Lamas.

McGregor is everywhere. Dude is even on SportsCenter now. Everyone knows this should be an easy fight for him, although I think he needs to be careful of Siver's spinning back kick to the body, but I'm shocked that UFC hasn't tried promoting or building up Siver. At least try to make people believe that they're gonna see a competitive fight.
 
I watched McGregor on Sportscenter, dude was way too vanilla lol

I too am surprised at they're completely ignoring Siver

BTW, Ariel said yesterday that the McGregor fight was pretty much sold out in Boston. This is pretty impressive to me as the Patriots will be playing a home game a few miles away pretty much at the same time as the prelims. Boston must have some diehard fight fans

Sunday will be EPIC with football and UFC

The bigger question is Nick Diaz. That guy was awesome in the build up toward GSP/Diaz. He had so many great quotables.

The Diaz brothers are known for their speaking skills, have a reputation as bad boys, etc.

It's like the emphasis is Anderson coming back from injury, which is one of the storylines. But Diaz is coming back from "retirement" and is a former champion and WW top contender.

Read somewhere that a bunch of people from Ireland flew in just for the fight and bought up all the tickets. 

Looks like Silva is definitely ready for the Diaz fight. He knocked out his sparring partner.

If Hendricks is fighting Brown, is Rory v Lombard still happening?

Edit: Although I'm glad we won't be getting Lawler v Hendricks 3, Hendricks might've screwed himself over. Even if he beats Brown, if Diaz beats Silva and he wants a title shot against Lawler he's getting it. Even Dana hinted that he'd like to see Diaz/Lawler 2.

I'm almost certain Silva will stay at MW not move down to WW

Rory isn't going to wait until June or July to fight even if it's for the title, IMO. He was on the show with Ariel yesterday sounding like he wasn't going to wait around regardless. Lawler has been fighting like crazy so he doesn't want to fight until the summer
