If I was him, I'd be mad at the UFC Marketing and most importantly his manager.
CM Punk's name got him a UFC contract and a comic writing gig. Not saying these fighters aren't right to complain about the pay but the Brazillian fighters are the worst offenders (Barao, Aldo, etc).
Can't wait to see Conor make more than $10 mill.

Managers can only do so much. They can't really make the ufc create special shows on them or to do commercials for them etc.
Managers aren't able to produce these things on their own

Dude is fragile. Might not even be possible for him to get cleared. Although that girl on tuf who had cancer and a bad neck somehow couldn't get cleared for amateur wrestling anymore but can for mma.

The reason UFC has the show looking for a fight is so he can profit while paying these new guys peanuts.
Dana could use the same marketing dollars to push his existing roster instead but he'd have to pay them more

Agreed. Both horribly overpaid.
Browne can eat off Ronda's money like the piece of garbage he is. Eye poking and calling timeouts doesn't deserve any kind of money.

Let these smaller dudes that are technically awesome and put on a great show get that money. Throw somebody like Browne $20k/$20k until he learns how to fight then bump him back up.

the ufc heavyweight division has been lackluster for a long time
205 was always their star division and bones exemplified that last
155 and 170 have also been star studded
brock was the only star and that had absolutely nothing to do with actual fighting talent

Overeem was a free agent, he was going to get that bag. Especially going into a title fight. He's a veteran too who's paid his dues, roided perhaps but a veteran none the less. He deserved at least one big pay day
Travis Browne is horrible now, I don't give a damn about him
And yes, the lower divisions are obviously more skilled but the casual fans gravitate towards the big guys due to knockouts... You guys are complaining that the sky is blue on this
I'm happy for anyone of these guys to get paid. Everyone should be making this money in every division, but I'm not going to criticize reem or stipe for making that cash. They absolutely deserve it

Reading that this will be one of the highest ppv buys for a ufc event not including conor, brock or ronda. Somewhere in the 600k-700k range. Was estimated be 350k without cm
