The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- UFC 300 ON NOW

Neither Johnson and especially DC deserve to be champion until they beat Jones.
Why do either of them have to wait for a guy who's pissing away his opportunity? Sure, he's probably one of the best champions in UFC history, but I have little remorse for someone who takes their second chances for granted.

No one said he had to be a "role model". But there's a difference between being a bad boy and a guy who is involved in a DUI, coke use, and now a hit and run.

They shouldn't have to wait at all, if Jones is really going to be in a state of rehab/possible prison time, there's obviously no point in waiting around

I think the majority of folks won't really consider whoever wins the true champion until they beat Jones though. At least I won't

No excuses for his actions, I'm legit upset we possibly may be witnessing his demise as a fighter

Jone ain't no dummy ... He seen how beastly Rumble had been. Dude said F it when he found out he really had to fight him.

Dude wants no part ...

Supposedly Khabib hurt his knee and is out of 187. So Cerrone is looking for a new opponent.
Dog

The UFC can go straight to hell. I just can't

Bones IMO would have defeated Spider pre-Weidman, PED's and all

Bones would have wrestled Anderson and grind him out

Khabib,

Way too many injuries in MMA, they need to train smarter or something.

Imagine if Aldo or Conor gets hurt after all this promo?

186 was cursed. Now, 187 is feeling the effects.

I was looking forward to seeing Khabib/Cowboy.

The MMA approach to training has to change with the amount of training-related injuries.

Wouldn't be shocked if they just remove Cerrone from the card and just give him a title shot against RDA.

If Aldo or Conor gets injured, lowkey the company may be in for some trouble
A small part of me kinda wants to see Aldo or Conor have to pull out from the fight. Just to see how UFC would react/handle it. They've been amping up this fight so much. From that stare down world tour, to the 6 part Conor series they have going on right now. I'm ready for the hype machine to go into over drive in June when they really start promoting it.

He had that one knock out of Diaz. But then again, Nate has been on the decline.

He had a decent fight against Bendo except I think he broke his hand early in the fight.

^^^

Exactly. Dude is still a great fighter and a Top 10 LW. 3 very close fights with Gil.

Nate fight was good. That was Nate's first fight after fighting for the belt.

Bendo fight was good. I enjoyed the Green fight.

To say he hasn't been exciting since Strikeforce is a reach.

And I could care less about "relevance".

Bendo would be a good sub though given how close his last fight with Cerrone was.

Johnson as well. But then their fight is a wash.

I never saw his fight with Green. Guess he lost.

And LW is STACKED. Easily the deepest division in the UFC.

Surprised by JBJ completely disappearing from P4P.
