Nah i think he could definitely hang with some of the top 15 guys. I'd like to see him fight Matt Brown but i doubt that would happen without another couple wins.

I thought Frankie + Cub was a true #1 contender match

Even before he called him out, I thought a Holloway/Edgar match would make perfect sense if Frankie isn't going to wait, which I believe he said he wasn't.

Shame Holloway didn't get a chance to show more though last night.

Don't get me wrong, I've been dying to see Frankie vs Mendes, but Holloway is on a tear and Frankie has been getting skipped over. Logically that's the true #1 contender fight

Mendes lost twice to Aldo and most recently to McGregor (even if it was on short notice, he still accepted the fight and you gotta deal with what results)

Yup I think Frankie knows this which is why he's taking a fight, smart man.

I'd still like to see Mendes rematch connor if he got past Frankie and connor beats aldo. Mendes/Edgar is more intriguing to me than hollowsy/Edgar, Frankie works him easy imo
