Yeah you may be right about the level of comp he's faced, but that's besides the point. I'm just telling you I highly doubt Conor is going to come out and leave himself vulnerable out of the gate. I don't think his emotion nor Aldo will get the best of them 

For the record, I am not picking any winner. My whole thing from DAY 1 was that Conor would give Aldo a great match. I was one of the first on NT to believe that Conor could one day become champ, even before he turned himself into a WWE character

Conor is good for the sport, no one else in the division would build this much hype
 
I've been going back and forth since this fight was announced. Just yesterday I was "all in" on Jose and today I'm leaning towards Conor. It's such a tough pick for me.

However, I am ALL IN on Weidman and that isn't changing. Unless Luke can take down Weidman and hold him there, Luke doesn't stand a chance. Weidman has a better chin, better stand up, better footwork and is a smarter fighter. Luke's biggest weakness will be his downfall, his striking defense. I was re-watching his old fights and I noticed he gets tagged A LOT. Even in the Machida fight, he was losing every exchange. That's not good against a guy with as much power as Weidman. I think he cleans his clock within 3 rounds. TKO.

I can't wait for Dec. 12th!

I will say, this might be the most even fight I can remember in recent memory, age, ability, size, length and skillset

def. a pick em fight.....

the true tale for me was both their machida fights......the machida x chris fight was close, Loyoto turned it on in the last 2 to make it very competitive....chris won no doubt, but his hands were full...

then luke comes in and totally runs through machida...

Luke did get grazed with the 1-2 machida threw on 2 occasions.....i think there were literally only 2 exchanges thrown in the first the luke rocked lyoto in the throat and DOMINATED him from there.

Luke ran through machida like he was a boy, that was crazy.

I think the real fight down the line is......Luke and JBJ

I don't think Chris has better stand up than Luke's. You may be correct on "smarter" but Luke's stand up is so diverse. They have similar power

On paper I do give the slight edge to Chris but overall this is Luke's best chance. I don't think you could face a more ready Luke Rockhold. If Chris wins it will elevate him in my eyes. Anderson's mystique started breaking down slowly after Chael (regardless of his TRT) dominated him for 4.5 rounds. So when Chris beat him the first time I wasn't at all shocked and much less the second time. If Chris defeats Luke it might be his most impressive victory for me to date
 
Can the fighters who aren't hurting for money refuse to wear any of the reebok garbage? They make the most boring stuff and give fighters all the same design.
 
Probably not. More than likely UFC added a new clause to their contracts saying fighters have to wear Reebok and made the fighters sign. That's why GSP said it could stop him from coming back. He's under his old deal that probably allows him to wear whatever he wants and it could stop UFC from having him come back.
 
WSOF is bunz. Ben would be a great addition to Bellator.


They need to get their **** together though so they can snatch up more disgruntled ufc defectors. They got some interesting young talent there and decent production value on their shows. If they get a couple name vets who arent shot, ala Benson, Tim Kennedy etc., could be interesting. And get Michael Page a real opponent. And make some combination of Lima Page and Daley happen. And have Page and Daley show up on every card actually. McGreary too. Actually showcase their young talent instead of headlining ******* Ken Shamrock and Dada 5000 and ****

Whatever Bendo does, he needs to stay away from WSOF. Been seeing a lot of articles and stories from fighters who say that Ali Abdel-whatever guy is shady as **** and a bigger con man than Dana.

I want to see how emotional Jose is or isn't after all this time has passed. Hopefully Chris and Luke are entertaining as well but I think they're going to be drowned out by the Featherweights
