Even if he got popped.. that info was gonna come out regardless, retiring ain't gonna save him from it being exposed.

This. I would hope neither him or the UFC would be dumb enough to try to cover it up

so say he doesn't unretire, who does Nate fight? This was supposed to be his big payday

GSP. Still plenty of time till 200.

Dana said they have another fight in the works to add.

And hopefully JBJ vs DC

I do agree with fighters getting paid. But to demand the money Is a different story.
The Fertitta's are Union busters. They're not in the business of giving.

That's the only way you gonna get paid in the UFC.

If Conor asked for ten mill he might have gone a tad bit overboard....

I remember when UFC was willing to give Fedor 5 mill a fight YEARS ago.

Nope, DC is shelved 'til October, he's undergoing stem-cell treatment. EDIT: Never mind, that happened last year.. So yeah, I guess if DC is ready he could conceivably be up for JBJ at 200.

JBJ, provided he takes care of business against St. Preux, would make sense to be on-call as an alternate for the Velasquez v. Browne bout at 200.

Or maybe...Ask Spider Silva if he wants to fight at 205...Against Jones.

Or GSP vs Spider.

Really everything needs to be considered at this point.

His management team are idiots.

Yes, yes they are.

:smh: Transcendent talent, squandered. People can say what they want about his physique, conditioning, etc. But the guy was very, very talented. You don't win the Sambo world championship four times being a ******* bum.

Did he fight a lot of cans? Undeniably. He's also 6-2 all-time against guys who at one point or another were a champion in the UFC.

Now he's resigned to fighting more cans like Fabio Maldanado.

Wasn't this just a matter of time w connor?? Was in my eyes. Had a debate w friends that connor would get soo big ego and be against ufc he would start his own MMA league overseas.

Conor shook!!!!!!!!!!!! He don't want to fight Nate Diaz yet. He'll be back this fall and claim some of the greatest fighters retired but came back. Enough with this crap! Vacate the Featherweight belt!!!!

dana gonna be the biggest sucker ever if he gives conor 10 mil

get that money conor

i'm not against fighters getting money, im just saying that the ufc (dana) has built a reputation for paying fighters peanuts, to bend over and give this guy 10 mil is hilarious

he does that and every top fighter is taking notice

Considering Conor already signed the contract, if he isn't bluffing he is about to lose big time.

Bout to get his Andre Ward on and piss away his prime years in a legal battle he cannot win.

Not sure why Conor deserves that much money when he LOST his last fight! Damn this dude's ego is bigger than my d***k.

Crazy.

I'm all for athletes getting their money. But I'm more about honoring a contract.

Pulling this **** when he agreed to a deal is absurd.

I said after that RDA press conference where he was wild disrespectful that he was quickly getting out of control. At some point, if he works for YOU, you have to check him.

There is a precedent for this if it's because of a presser. Remember Dana pulled Nick Diaz from his GSP fight for this.

As some have mentioned. Dude is locked into a deal. There is no "go to Belabor" if he doesn't fight in the UFC. They can potentially put him on ice.

Maybe his next fight will be on Fight Pass

This Ramadan thing is killing me because I would have loved to see Khabib and Nate with that brawl in Vegas on loop for weeks
