McMann isn't going to last as long as Tate did at 169.

DC wins however he wants. Doesn't seem like the cut to 205 was that big of an issue. Would like to see him get a TKO.
 
If Cormier decisions Cummins the naysayers will be out in full force. DC really is in a no-win situation but I applaud his determination to stay on the card to test his weight cut

For sure. You would think DC knows he needs to smash this kid to get in talks for that title shot he so desperately wants.
 
If Manuwa somehow beats Alex, do you think he could get the next title shot??

Or would DC get it with a win over a unranked oppenent??
 
I don't know why but not excited for the ppv tonight at all. The only fight I really wanted to watch was Rory vs Maia to see if the old Rory came back. But I'm expecting a jab fest. Maia is gonna try to take him down but Rory is just gonna jab and keep moving. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Same. Not amped for this one at all. Don't really know why, either. Will likely have it on in the background as I'm doing work tonight.

I probably would have bought the card if Cormier/Rashad was a go.
 
I'm actually excited for the main fight. When it's equally skilled level wrestler vs judoka, the wrestler has a huge advantage. I've been telling my buddy that the way to beat Ronda is to outwrestle her, but the skill level of wrestling in women's MMA is really low compared to Ronda's level of grappling

not even excited about tonight card. Pretty much its a bunch of squash matches. Imagine if the UFC didn't water down their cards so much. They could of combined all three February events and made it one big card.

the opposite is probably going to happen. I hope Dana paid him well, probably going to be like Lesnar VS Herring. Herring pretty much retired after that fight. 
 
I hope DC dominates but honestly there isn't much on this Cummins guy except that he has 4 finishes in 4 fights and that he has pretty exceptional wrestling credentials. A lot of folks are writing this guy off. I would love to write him off but I can't find a basis to do so, especially when you consider that DC is making his debut at 205. All the pressure is on DC being that he's in a no-win situation. If he wins, he was supposed to, if he wins by decision then he gets criticism, if he loses then it's all hell breaks loose.
 
Anyone know anything about a 135'er named Holly Holm? From what I've heard only 2 women realistically have a shot against Rousey. Holm and Cyborg, and neither of them are in UFC.
