Rory embarrassed T-Wood, but didn't make any case for jumping in front of Lawler or Brown. He should welcome Condit back to the Octagon.
 
rory aint no joke. dude is the real deal. just needs to maintain the killer instinct he displayed today throughout all his fights. sometimes he gets complacent and starts doing too much fancy ****.

I don't think Condit is going to be back anytime soon, and they'll probably give him someone ranked way lower to start

Was the card that bad? I saw a reporter for ESPN tweet that ppl were leaving the arena during the middle of the main event.
 
Most people at these events are just casual fans that want to see their favorite fighters fight, or want to see fighters eat shot after shot, can't say I'm surprised people were leaving during the main event. I thought the main event was entertaining. I mean damn, those same fans loud as hell fer 25 minutes when GSP is all laying and praying his opponents. The main event had more action than 80% of all GSP's fights.

Main Card was horrendous if you ask me. Would have been heated if I spent $60 on it. The UFC has been on a solid streak of decent events, but tonight was an exception. I expect Dana to be on fire during the post-fight presser.

Schaub/Arlovski was supposed to be fireworks. Absolute snoozefest.

Bader was dominant, but by no means exciting.

Rory same deal.

DJ is technically unreal, but that isn't going to make a crowd happy that just sat through three relatively boring fights.

Canada stays getting screwed with crappy cards, man. :smh:
 
Mighty Mouse is better suited for a co-main or main on a FOX card rather than headlining a PPV card. So technically gifted and fundamentally sound. Dodson has to put him out within the first two rounds to take the 125 strap.

Rory and Stun Gun would both beat Lombard. That's if Stun Gun fights his old-style. Safe, lay and pray utilizing superior wrestling. Not the reckless trading and banging he showed against Silva.

Rory Mac has the jab and effective strategy to neutralize Lombard's power like Ellenberger and T-Wood. I don't think Rory would beat Condit in a rematch, NBK too well-rounded if fully healthy post-surgery.
 
I NEED to see that Dodson rematch. Would be perfect as the Co-Main under Cain/Verdum...

Rory has all the tools to be a world-beater, I just haven't seen that killer instict to finish his opponents that others have shown over the years. Kid has all the talent in the world and if he puts it all together he could make his mentor very, very happy and bring that belt back to TriStar.
 
Dana on the post fight show:

Arlovski/Schaub should've been on the prelims. Said Schaub is crazy if he thinks he won outright cause it was a close fight. And Arlovski looked slow and soft.

He wants Rory to finish fights. Thought he had Woodley rocked but didn't go for the finish.

He said that Woodley choked. And he chokes in big fights.

He likes Dodson next for DJ but wouldn't commit.

And he basically committed to winner of Lawler/Brown getting next title shot.
