Immediately after T.J. took the 135 belt, I thought to myself Barao would avenge the loss swiftly. Losing that confidence. Barao clearly has issues making 135 and the air of invincibility is lost.

Most of these guys are training twice a day, 5-6 days a week during camp. Then you have the alpha male type guys that want to prove they're the best during sparring. Thats how a lot of these guys end up getting hurt.

I don't know how I feel about teammates fighting. These aren't just like campmates, these are like two close friends. **** just kind of odd to me.

Could even consider like a coach figure to TJ in a way.

They gonna make that TJ Barao fight though, midas well book it. 135 goes back to a snooze fest with Cruz back on ice.

It always seemed to me buttchin was willing to fight dillashaw and he even said it in an interview before. It helped that there was some tension between him and when Ludwig left.

^ I think most of the top guys from TAM except for Faber were still coached by Ludwig for their most recent fights. It was even Ludwig that said he wanted the fight to happen and he'd train Dillashaw while Kampmann trains Faber. And both guys said even though its not a fight they really want, if UFC wants the fight and ups the amount of cash they'll make they'd do it.

Mike Roberts manages both of them and said "I'll never say never"... "but highly unlikely"

Would you guys want to see that? srs, I can't imagine how their lives would go on regular after they fight for a title

Idk if its a must see fight for me. I just floated the idea out there cause Barao didn't look impressive during his last fight and I'm not sure UFC is in a rush to give him another title shot. Dillashaw/Barao 2 wasn't selling even before Barao was pulled and they had to resort to using Groupon to sell tickets. Then you have Assuncao out with a broken ankle and Cruz with his ACL, not many options for them.

If Faber won, I think they could go on acting like things were normal. But if Dillashaw won, I don't see things getting back to normal because of Faber's ego. His ego was part of the reason Ludwig is no longer at TAM. He was upset Ludwig was getting all of the credit for TAM's surge.

So now that UFC signed CM Punk, Bellator is in talks with former WWE wrestler Alberto Del Rio. At least he has a background in MMA and even fought in Pride.

I can almost guarantee you Dana is going to run with the TAM storyline. He'll say "Faber, this is your last chance at gold, you have to take it"... and they'll run with the drama

Ultimately if Faber doesn't believe he could beat TJ, Faber will decline and hide behind the "we're brothers" line.. then we'll get Barao/TJ and Dana will probably act all pissed about the teammate situation again

Is this the Burkman that dated Arianny back in the day? Or the one that lost a title shot in WSOF then claimed he threw the fight so he could get out of his contract?

Not sure if anyone in here has FightPass but now would be a good time to change your username and password. "Anonymous" released a bunch of users account information from various sites including FightPass. I guess people can get your credit card info if its stored on there.
