She signed already? The last thing I heard was that they offered Carano a contract. 

Update: Helwani is saying a source told him its not true about Bellator signing Carano but they have an announcement planned for tomorrow.

Regarding the War Machine situation we're missing something there. I'm sure as hell not sticking up for him but if he came over and beat her friend then kicked the friend out why didn't the friend report the incident to the cops. Or if he was beaten like Christy he would've had to go to the hospital and they would've been required to notify the cops when they saw the injuries. Also some online are questioning her about them breaking up in May cause they were seen together at Phil Baroni's fight with Bellator recently and she's been RT'ing things he tweeted in June and July. 

But like others have said, I think WM has some kind of mental issue. I looked at his Twitter today for the 1st time and this guy has mood swings or split personalities.

Not just him, but a lot of use guys in general gotta get over the alpha male ****. We can have problems but won't seek help because guys aren't really suppose to ask for help.
 
crazy story regarding war machine and his gf. my friend was just telling me that i need to check out war machine and some of his fights a week or so back. dude clearly needs help. hopefully his gf or ex gf now (i would hope) comes out of this OK.

Bro does it really matter whether or not they were broken up? Come on, that's the last thing folks should be investigating at this time. Regarding the other victim, again, does it really matter? Regardless, Mack was nearly beaten to death. War Machine is a disturbed individual, and Mack for all we know, could also be ****** up but let's not go looking into things that are pretty much irrelevant-- like whether or not they were broken up or still together.

In my opinion both of them are ****** up individuals who probably provoke each other regularly. With that said there is no justifying the outcome here.

The fact is WM beating the crap out of her was terrible. But saying those things are irrelevant are wrong. You don't think its relevant that another guy was supposedly there, beaten, let go and from all reports didn't go to the police or report anything? What if WM was really looking for a sharper knife and ended up killing her? The friend calling the cops could've prevented a lot of what happened to her. So saying its irrelevant is just plain wrong.
 
Oh I didn't know that was the point you were making, well yeah obviously the other victim should have called the cops, which for all we know, he could have made the call. As far as Mack and War Machine being together or not yeah, that's completely irrelevant.

Why would gina sign with bellator? Do they even have women fighters currently on the roster?
 
Stiff test Saturday for Makovsky against Formiga. How that's a prelim fight? I don't know.

Maynard snoozes his way to a decision over Pearson by playing it safe with stifling wrestling.

I think they got rid of the women's division a while ago. But the rumor was that they signed Carano and Marloes Coenen. I wouldn't be shocked if it was Gina's people that put the rumor out there. It pushes UFC to give her more money if they wanna sign her. Kinda like when Gil signed that huge contract with Bellator during UFC's matching period.

Honestly with all the WM talk and a lot of focus being put on the Jones/DC brawl, I completely forgot about the fights on Saturday. I even forgot about 177. I thought the next card was 178 in Sept.

UFC hasn't really promoted it well, IMO. And it's in Bangor, Maine. Hard sell.
 
Jon Jones injured. Fight with DC moved from UFC 178 to UFC 182 in January.

Mighty Mouse v Cariaso moved to UFC 178.
 
Be interesting to hear what Rogan says about War machine. Dude was on his podcast not so long ago.

Dude clearly needs to be in a cage at the very least. That level of beating isn't acceptable regardless of mental health.


The new main event for 178 is almost as brutal as that beating that my boo Mack took. They should have just bumped Conor and Dustin.
