It's Friday in Japan and it's probably safe to say it's not going to be the most enjoyable day for UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt.

Hunt, who said he began his training camp at an astounding 340 pounds, weighed 284 on Thursday in Japan, a UFC source confirmed to Yahoo Sports. That means that by the 4 p.m. Tokyo time weigh-in, Hunt will have to shed an additional 19 pounds to make the heavyweight limit of 265 for his bout at the Saitama Super Arena against Roy "Big Country" Nelson.

It's almost certain Hunt is going to spend most of his Friday in the sauna trying to shed 19 pounds.

It's hard to imagine he'll be able to lose all of that weight. If he misses, then it will be up to Nelson if the fight goes forward. Hunt weighed 262 pounds for his December bout against Antonio "Big Foot" Silva that went down as one of the greatest matches in UFC history.

In the event Hunt misses weight, Nelson will have the opportunity to decline to fight, which is highly unlikely. If Nelson declines, he wouldn't be paid, either.

But if Nelson chooses to fight anway, he would get 20 percent of Hunt's purse in addition to his own.

It would be a severe punishment for Hunt, but it's hard to imagine having to lose 75 pounds as Hunt had to do from the start of his trianing camp.

This always gets me. You're s professional fighter and part of your job is to make a certain weight. Why get that big if you know that your job depends on it. They should take 50%.

Obviously ****** up for Roy. His options are what.....

Go in the cage with a banger who's got 20lbs on you?

How hard is Hunt really going to try to lose the 19 lbs at this point?

Or don't fight and not get paid after you did a full camp?

****** up if so.

Shesh come on hunt your gunna miss weight like this...you think he's still gunna finish his UFC contract or Dana will cut him before?

Hunt's saying he's on weight right now.

I just don't think he really wants to fight. It was just last month he tweeted out something about being unemployed. Then said he was upset because he wanted a 3 fight contract and UFC wanted a 8 fight deal. And he was basically ready to stop until his wife checked him and talked him out of things.

For someone as fat as Hunt, I wonder if it's not as crazy as it sounds to lose 19 pounds that quickly

Either way, he's one of the few People's Champions but he's just pissing all over the crown

The only times I can think of heavyweights missing weight was Tim Sylvia last year and that Santos guy that missed weight during the Bellator HW tournament a few years ago and forfeited the match.

Anyone planning to watch this live tonight? At 3 AM Eastern time and midnight Pacific time

Don't know if I can stay up that late these days

Since this is a free card and the entire weigh in is on YouTube, it's cool to post gifs, right?
The weigh-in was free so gifs of that should be OK, well IMO. The event is on Fight Pass, so probably no gifs of the fights.
There's no mystery about it, her body is damn nice and she has a cute face.

akiyama with a new look. Rocking that trendy haircut and the stache.
That's true, sometimes her face is just off to me though. *** is on point when she enters the cage all filled out

Probably because of that smirk / smile she does and it makes her nose look big. I need to get a poster of her kissing her bicep when she weighs in. I want her to sit on a plate immediately after she does that.
