The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Whittaker v Brunson on SAT 11/26 @7PM on FS1 - Page 303

^ I checked the rules page, tried to find anything in regards to reputation, and found nothing. Also found a thread where someone who posted there was begging for reps, no mods posted on the thread nor was the guy who posted to beg for reps was banned. I think the reps is our choice and our freedom here. As long as we're not new I don't think it's going to be a total problem.

eek.giflaugh.gif well damn

But he's right tho, Vitor is definitely still on that vitamin T. Dos Anjos probably linked him up with the connect.

Weird to see weidman go at vitor like that

Vitor looks so slim different when your not on the gas anymore

DC looks trim and seems way more comfortable in the weigh in, I feel like the pressure had gotten to DC before the bones fight

So the mullet mohawk isn't the real source of his power? Disappointed.

Da Chris letting them shots fly bruh.

Vitor looks terrible but no matter what version steps in the cage he's always K.O power. That being said i think Chris will stop him in 2 rounds.

So this pretty much means Aldo or McGregor will get injured

Other fighters and cards NEED advertising. McGregor and Aldo people are already all in for, why the hell are they breaking the bank to push this? It's going to be a son of a ***** when one of them pulls out of the fight. All that money down the drain

"Over a million PPV buys and we'll probably break even," White said. "That's how much money we're spending. We're spending lot of money."

Thats gonna suck if they don't get over a million ppv buys.

Apparently Wildfire Vitor has been blessed by Dr. Jesus, translated quote from him:
Quote:
"My levels are below normal, things change because of hypogonadism, but I don't even pay attention to that. Now I don't see the result of my testosterone levels exams, I ask the doctors to not show me, because I don't wat for it to mess with my head. It's a deficiency that I have, there are not natural treatments to balance the hormones, but God sent me a supplement from heaven and it's working. I'm going after the title and I have no excuses to give, I feel I'm in the best shape of my life, I never felt so good"

"With TRT or not, I always fought fair, because I was always tested. It's a medical issue I had to deal with. In the beginning it was hard to adapt, but I had a good doctor, a good team and supplements to balance and now it's everything in the right place. Imagine an asthmatic not being able to use his asthmatic inhalers? It's complicated."

:rollinhe gives no damns does he

In a March 16 test taken by the NAC, ESPN reported that Belfort had a 12 ng/ml testosterone level. Two weeks later, Weidman was tested and he had a 3.7 ng/ml level. Belfort was tested again April 28 and his testosterone was 5 ng/ml. Weidman was exactly the same, 3.7, in April 27 test.

The numbers don't prove anything, though, and were not a cause for the commission to take any kind of disciplinary action against Belfort. Both fighters came back clean in drug tests.

John Dodson on a different kind of water

Dude is 5'3 and walks around at 160? :eek

"I am the greatest fighter in the UFC," Dodson said. "I should be pound-for-pound the No. 1 in the world. That's how I look at it in my own eyes. I told everybody I'm gonna be a three-way king, a three-of-a-kind king. Everybody keeps on wondering what that means. I'm gonna show them. I've been telling people since day one, since the Ultimate Fighter that I'm gonna hold titles at 125, 135 and 145. I'm gonna stand true to that to this day."

Though his best division seems to be 125, Dodson walks around at more than 160 pounds. The 5-foot-3 powerhouse is a muscular, physical specimen.

So I did read that urine tests tend to give really varied readings like that though, especially depending on when the test was taken and what they ate etc. etc. I dunno, Vitor might actually be clean, in which case he might be getting his *** whupped today laugh.gif.

Skinny Vitor does still have that one shot KO though, like in the Rich Franklin fight. I guess we'll see.

I'm assuming yes according to the article the commission didn't move on the results because they don't necessarily prove anything

When you compare it to Weidman's results though, doesn't that look bizarre? I'm not well versed in these things though

Instead of doing the regular urine tests, they should've done blood testing and tested for everything. That would've quieted a lot of the speculation.

Yeah compared to Weidman's tests, Vitor's definitely look all over the place. They definitely coulda just done VADA blood testing and avoided the speculation. Especially for title fights, you would think they'd at least make sure the contenders are clean.

It'd be hilarious if Vitor knocked Weidman clean out then pissed hot tho laugh.gif. I'm actually really hoping it happens

vitor should walk with a cross on his back for his entrance like joe son.

Chris bout to beat the breaks off of Wildfire Vitor, in the name of the old gods, and the new

Weidman bout to get smashed smokin.gif

With that said, why isn't that fight the main event? I can understand Jones vs. Rumble being the main event but given the circumstances why wouldn't they give the only champion fighting on the card the main event slot? Doesn't make sense.

Wildfire Vitor's first bout off da TRT. We gonna see him get Dan Henderson'd?

I prefer for Weidman to keep the title, I want to see him go up against Rockhold and Souza

The usual rule is the heavier weight division gets top billing. I haven't checked if the UFC has ever broken his rule

-Edit: Rumble v. Comier is for the belt

I don't mind them sticking to the plan. There's no real difference IMO, they were co-main events anyway

Fixed it for you.

I thought DC vs Rumble is still a Championship fight since Jones had to vacate it.

Aldo vs. McGregor about to get top billing over Robbie and Rory Mac, but yeah usually heavier weights get top billing.

True indeed, either one of those fights needs to get made ASAP, both would be crazy. Kinda hoping for Rockhold Weidman tho, even though Jacare might've done more to earn it. Hopefully if Weidman beats Vitor he doesn't get injured in the process.
