Cormier and Gus makes more sense and that would probably be competitive. Bader is going to get murdered.

If Jacare and Romero have pushed the fight back then that's 100% the reason

i really don't know who wins between aldo/mcgregor. i'm guessing aldo is a -175 or even -200 fave. could be wrong.

Lombard failing his drug test may turn out to be a good thing for Rory. UFC is reportedly discussing Rory vs Lawler for July.

Aldo at -155, Conor +135 right now at 5Dimes.
Ripe odds to play Aldo heavy. McGregor is almost getting too much respect for his study of movement and unorthodox stand-up.

I'm seeing an Aldo unanimous decision all the way. Likely 49-46. Maybe, maybe 48-47 if Conor can push the pace late with his movement even after absorbing Jose's painful leg kicks.

Rory's jab is a great neutralizer of Robbie's power, but MacDonald better not fight timid like he did in the first go-around or like the Ellenberger fight. He has the tools to be champ and strip the belt from Lawler.

I got a bad feeling about this one.
For Bendo or Thatch?

I'm worried about Brandon's knees.

That line for Aldo/McGregor will move I guarantee, to odds we're expecting

Opening lines can be weird sometimes
I feel the same. We'd be inclined to lay heavy on Aldo at that number.

You picking Bendo or Thatch tomorrow?

Feel free to weigh in on the undercard too. I've got Walsh by sub (RNC) and hoping for a Kunimoto sub (arm-triangle choke), but seeing a Magny decision. Neil had a monster 2014 with high activity similar to Cowboy.

Think it's pretty tough call on the main event. Thatch is obviously an up and comer and hopes are sky high for him, but he's been out for a while. Bendo coming off short notice and fighting for the first time up a weight class.. I will NEVER count Bendo out, even at 170, until I see him get completely washed up. He won his fight with Cowboy, even though it wasn't the best show

I think we're going to get a whole lot of answers after this match on both men. If Bendo doesn't use his wrestling, which he hasn't for a while, he isn't going to be able to outstrike Thatch and point fight

I would like to see Bendo try to wrestle to see how Thatch's TDD looks

Don't have a feeling one way or the other really

yeah, dont know what benson was thinking on this one

respect for stepping in and stepping up but he could very likely be 0-3
As a Bendo supporter, I want to believe he's mentally and physically prepared for this jump to 170. In several recent interviews he's very publicly discussed moving up to welterweight. Thompson's unfortunate rib injury just expedited the process and let's make no mistake, Thatch is a tall order with his unique stand-up. Particularly knees.

The Khabilov sub victory was a beacon of hope in Bendo's lightweight career. Seeking finishes, away from narrow decisions. The once and future king, I subscribed to all that. RDA quickly derailed that goal. Early stoppage but regardless, Bendo went away from his wrestling advantage and dos Anjos showed much improved striking.

Let's be honest, Bendo won the rubber match against Cowboy. I gave Benson R1 and R2 (despite the Cerrone takedown). Didn't like the mindset and strategy going into R3, kind of coasted and let off the gas. Can't ever assume you have the decision in the bag.

I'm predicting a Henderson decision victory, but Benson must utilize his wrestling no matter how boring it may be perceived. Point fighting allegations, I don't care. Get the W when venturing into deep waters at 170.

Bendo reminds me of Frankie when he was at LW. His fights were never decisive, usually closely contested decisions.

He got subbed, knocked out, lost a decision...he's not getting cut but he needs to get back to basics. And this WW idea isn't a good one.

I can guarantee you Bendo is one of the furthest non champion fighters in the UFC from being cut. He can lose this fight and still be maybe 2 or 3 more bad losses in a row from being cut

I don't honestly see the point of him going to WW myself, but I'll wait to judge. I can't name any obvious positive benefit of him moving up since he lacks punching power and now seems to refuse to wrestle. This point fighting thing he has proven to exhibit isn't going to cut it at WW. Is he going to outwork these bigger fighters?

Tomorrow will be a nice barometer for both men as I state previously

The weight cut is probably getting harder for him. A year or two ago he said that he's been adding a lot of muscle. That, plus getting older isn't gonna help with cuts. Thats why you see guys getting caught using steroids that are supposed to help them lose fat without losing muscle.

Bendo's said the move up to WW is only temporary in many of the recent interviews. I'm not feeling the move up anyway. He needs to get that belt back from Pettis.

I just watched the Thatch vs Thiago fight.

Thatch actually has good footwork and movement but he just likes getting crazy

Once he senses your hurt son stays in the pocket until someone folds.

Thatch should be able to stay in the pocket against Bendo, who won't be testing anyone's chin. It should just be interesting to see how strong Bendo is at this weight and if he can outwork Thatch and keep his body on him

Valentine's Day fights! :smokin

The wife is thrilled!

Honestly, the fight I'm most excited for this entire month is next week. Barboza/Johnson.
