Siver hasn't done **** really. His biggest wins were against Gamburyan (which was overturned for PEDS) and Diego Nunes. When he fought top guys like Cerrone, Swanson and Ross Pearson he was outclassed.

the problem for me is that lets say jose beats him which most expect him to do, then what?
does he earn his way back by having to fight guys like chad, lamas, frankie, cub,.. guys that he should have fought in the first place...
or do they just let him earn his shot again by beating another lower guy?
its not so much his talking as it is the ufc trying to sell it

The only guy that deserves a shot over McGregor is Frankie right now
Other than that, yeah I could see why people say he's being fast tracked to a title

i hope they pay siver good, they did my man dirty. Almost everyone knew he was put in there as a set up, I applaud him for going in there and not putting up w/ mcgregor's antics. About time mcgregor gets a shot a top tier fighter, but I would pit him in with mendes or Edgar (since mendes is already scheduled w/ lamas). Any of those fighters-- mendes, Edgar, lamas, Bermudaz-- would give him a difficult task.

UFC and Conor are smart tho can't eem be mad. I just don't believe the hype yet, he hasn't fought enough of the top tier guys imo.

Hate and love mcgregor. His bit is getting a bit old, but he's definitely adding more excitement to the division. Sucks that he's leapfrogging over Frankie, but fight makes sense monetary wise and fan friendly.
In a perfect situation, I'd prefer aldo to retain the belt and have him move to 155. Then maybe barao can move to 145 and it'll be awesome to see who can win the vacated belt.
