MTV dips back into the Real World well with the 29th installment of the long-running reality series.

MTV's 'Real World' Returning to San Francisco for Season 29
The upcoming season, which kicks off Jan. 15 at 10 p.m., adds a new wrinkle to the tried-and-true formula of the Real World franchise. By adding the ex-girlfriends and ex-boyfriends of its Real World housemates, the cable network is betting that the mere presence of former lovers will cause even more chaos and mayhem.

"This is not like every other season of The Real World," one of the housemates rightly says at the start of the 90-second trailer.
Dubbed Real World: Ex-Plosion, the first trailer for the upcoming run spotlights the shenanigans that will go down when the housemates discover they'll be be living with people they probably hoped they'd never see again. Things get heated as jealousy and anger rage. Also, as the trailer reveals, one of the girls gets pregnant.
"The whole game's changed now."

Been watching older big brother UK series. Good stuff.
 
It hasn't been around 29 years. A few times they showed two different versions in a year.

I think it premiered in 92 or 93.
 
the last cast i actually remember is the ny one with mike (the miz), coral (tig ol's) lol.
 
It took 29 seasons, and multiple scares for somebody to actually get pregnant. :lol:

But from the looks of the trailer, the baby doesn't make it.
 
I want to know how life for the crew of different real world season are effected post show
 
Yo nothing tops the scheming and ratchness that goes on at the Bad Girls Club. RW been taking the L for years now.
 
In order for this show to claw its way back to greatness people must genuinely die. Anything else has just already been done. Partying is played out now.... We need blood!!

If it all sucks like you guys say and it should end I'm still waiting for the RW where they give absolutely no dambs and cast the most unstable and wild unusual ppl they can find.

This one is w/e, so the cast is still 8? To me seems way more fake of an idea that 4 exes would agree to do this.
