Official D-League Thread - [2/5] Motion to change this to the Official Pierre Jackson Thread?

I like the way we use our D-League affiliate. Mike Scott and John Jenkins spent time with Jam last year and it definitely helped. Mike Scott has been a key cog in our rotation this season. Shelvin Mack has more consistent than Schroder, so having him down there can only benefit him at this point.

:smh: @ Carr

The thing is, he can still wait to declare for the draft. Go over to China, cook for a year or two and see where your draft stock is at that point.

Aquille Carr is an interesting prospect.

My dude Justin Brownlee has been doing his thing with the Bayhawks. Anthony Mason Jr. has had some nice d-league games as well.

Wait!? Did yall see the 7'8" dude on the Legends? Where is addict4sneakers addict4sneakers to give some insight on this dude? I know i saw him playing on the Globetrotters a couple years back, but I didn't know he was trying to seriously get in the league.

Paul Sturgess. He's really 7'8" too. I actually think he might be taller but his neck is shaped funny and his head protrudes out. But surprisingly, Paul is skilled like any other euro. He can really pass and has touch. Mobility is going to limit him though. He's food in the high pick and roll and he won't be able to play help side either

So, in summation, no NBA for him?

Pierre Jackson is killing and still can't get a call-up. He's averaging 30 ppg, 5.4 apg, and 2 spg, shooting 46% from the field and 37% from 3.

Its a contract/roster spot thing with him...The Hornets have rights to him but their backcourt is too crowded so they dont want to pay him an NBA salary just to have him going back and forth between the DLeague and NBA...we just gotta wait till next season to see him shine i guess :smh:

And I was happy to see my man Melvin Ely get called up at the end of the NBA Season. Used to love him on those early 2000s Clippers teams
