I think they'd look great with no mint on the toe box, just all black instead -- but for some reason I'm still diggin' them.
 
I also have a feeling that heel piece is not carbon fiber and just a pattern.  Hopefully I'm wrong.

Is it confirmed that eastbay and co will be getting these? I want them, but would prefer them discounted if possible.
 
how limited will this  shoe be?

I'll probably get it from kickscrew... since the price pretty  much works out the same...
 
well I think I got them, I went to pay via payal, and clicked continue.. it seemed to work, but I got no email, and there is no purchase on paypal.

Is it delayed or something? I see the shoes in my cart still...

They're on FTL's calendar as 'Kobe 8 venomenon' but it's the same exact release date as on NDC.  Not sure about the other stores.

Hoping these are more than just HOH, nike exclusive
 
Anyone know whats that on the heel is it real carbon fiber cause i heard its faux carbon fiber?

Probably gonna scoop these up on release date to see if its a somewhat good performer

I will leave a review soon after buying

Nah, we seen dude SAY they were "Faux" Carbon Fiber in the Kobe 8 Thread.

He just speculated, b/c you usually don't get it on Take-Down Models and Nike stills pushes the Idea that Carbon Fiber is this Hi-End Material only to be used on their Elite Sneakers Lines, but really it's just another buzz-worthy component to help continue their cost agenda.

But I really doubt they'd use Faux Carbon where the real thing can be easily used as a Heel Counter like they have on these.

Planning to scoop as well as long as they're available around me.

Been wondering about that CF too... some images make it look real, some don't
