2014-2015 NCAA / NFL Gear

Anybody got the Untouchables or Flyknit gloves yet? Still is weird they didn't make below a 9 on the Untouchables when Nike's speed cleats are notorious for running a 1/2 size large.
 
Been trying to get a decent discount on the untouchables, but no dice yet. Also curious what the super bowl cleat will be this year...
 
Have some gift cards and debating on going with the Untouchables in my size 9 even though I would prefer to half size down.

Thanks, Baseball7! Looking forward to your review. Could you cover the sizing / fit? IKF went and said to go a half size down. Which is if the case then I will have to wait for further releases and see if they will have an 8.5.
 
Paitently waiting for Oregon to release the cleats

And no way Oregon wears green again they never wear the same thing twice and since they are the home team in the title game I don't see them wearing white/black jersey as the home team either

Fingers crossed they brings something innovated out like the chrome helmets when they 1st brought them out or the volt color

I'm thinking how can they push th envelope without over doing it
 
Omg volt! Congratulations to all my oregon fans on niketalk! Killed FSU in the sesecond half. But to jameis's credit a lot of dropped passes for first downs and first down fumbles. Complete game for the ducks.. so sad that devon allen hurt his knee on opening kick return. But my boy thomas Tyner is back to attack!freeman and Tyner in the backfield.. how do you stop that?

Nike cleats have been weird of late.. had to go half size down since the vapor talon elites.
 
Okay, so here's my review on the Nike Vapor Untouchables. The $200 price point for these is pretty much ridiculous. The only reason I purchased these is because I have some Nike gift cards from the Holiday season, but that's besides the point. The Flyknit on these cleats isn't like what you'd see in the Nike Free Flyknit runners. The Flyknit is covered with a sort of protective covering near the high wear areas(toe, near the plate). The Flyknit seems very durable and does not seem like it would rip if stepped on during a game or practice. The glittery silver near the toe around the bottom of the shoe seems like it would be very difficult to clean if it were to get scuffed. The fitment of these is one of the things that I was curious to see. My regular shoe size is a 12. I ordered a 12 because the 11.5 was sold out on NDC. The fit on these is excellent in my opinion. I was wearing the Nike Vapor Crew Sock which is a thicker, padded sock and it fit like a glove. I will say though, getting your foot into the shoe is a B!TCH. The pull tab on the heel is definitely necessary when putting these on. One of the problems people had with the Vapor Ultimate was the heel slippage. In the Untouchables they added an eyelet and made the Flyknit a little taller around the ankle to really lock down the fitment. I personally loved the fit around the ankle. No slippage for me when trying them on and walking around the house. One kind of annoying thing is that the ankle collar isn't always tight around your ankle when you're walking around(pictured below) but that isn't much of a problem at all. I'd imagine these cleats would be very breathable when wearing them because of the Flyknit. Overall these are the best cleats I have ever purchased from Nike. The look of these is undeniable and the fitment is second to none.

Just like the Vapor Carbon 2's shoe would have been so much cleaner without the Nike branding on the medial side. Still I like these more then the Ultimate's. Probably going to have to give these a try.

Yes, I felt like half sizing down was not necessary, but like you said all feet are different!
 
Anybody got Oregon equipment connects?

Specifically cleats in the 10.5
 
Has it been posted already anywhere what color Oregon will wear for Champ Game? Was thinking black or white with similar colored helmet? Black with a touch of silver and a matte black lid and yellow O would be sick IMO.
 
In my humble opinion the all yellow uniforms are the second best ones this season after the all green they wore for the Rose Bowl !
 
That Clemson pic explains what Fitz was wearing on Saturday.  These cleats are listed in the Nike catalog, but without pics.
 
i think they will bring something new out like they did last title game against Cam Newton with the volt

I felt it would be a yellow based jersey this go around because the Rose Bowl jersey was green based

but I expect to see something innovative that schools will copy down the road

I saw those as well!! I bought the medium pair!!! I think they are pretty rare
