My Friends,

New Years is upon us and there are only a few places you'd want to be and one of those is Vegas. My question is who will be in Vegas for New Years and who has been to Vegas for New Years?

I've been there once for New Years back in 2005 and I really can't remember how it was.

Should I just do one club or should I club hop? So far I have bottle service at Marquee on the 31st and I was thinking of doing 1OAK for the 1st?

In conclusion I am single now, I'm a grown up and I make good American money. I will update this with amazing pictures in the future.

God Bless,

-Jacob

I did Vegas for NYE last year. I don't recommend club hopping because the strip is closed and getting around town is very difficult. Traffic is a nightmare. Pick one place and get to the hotel/venue early. Best thing is stay at the hotel were the club is or at a hotel very close to the club you plan on attending on NYE.

I recommend Hyde Bellagio and Light (newest club). I went to both places three weeks ago and they were excellent. Very different venues in terms of music and hospitality, but had a great time at both.

One thing to note, liquor stores on the strip stop selling glass bottles at 12pm (double check time) on Dec. 31st. I went to purchase a couple bottles of Ciroc to pregame and they were only selling alcohol that comes in a plastic bottle.

I might end up in LV for NYE this year too.

I'm going with some of my co workers, we got a Suite and the Aria cost 600 a night :x

I'm thinking of canceling bottle service at marquee for NYE the DJ is crap. Hakkasan has Calvin Harris and that looks like the place to be for NYE so I'll be there.

New Years day Hyde sounds cool actually, I just might do that.

Yeah hotel prices are rape that time of year. I was paying $500/night for a pretty basic Palazzo suite.

I went to Hakkasan on a Thursday with no bottles and I didn't like it. The layout is is weird especially with two floors, but with Calvin Harris it should be a good time. HK is the kind of club where table location can make or break your night because everything is focused on the DJ.

NYE the best clubs will be Hakk with Calvin and XS with Kaskade

Definitely stay at one club and go to a club near your hotel - cab lines can be an hour plus

NYE there was the coldest I've ever been in my whole life, even counting a winter in NYC. XS was ridiculous though :pimp:

Hakk bottle service is 2000 and XS is 1500.

I'd really like to see Calvin Harris though (pause).

Is that the price for NYE? Because I know the minimums go up for NYE. Whatever you do, don't get tables outside. I was at XS and when I stepped outside, people were standing there like icicles.

I'll give you the game plan.
1.pre fade
2. Gamble to win money for your bottle service
3. Hit the club
4. Pop bottles
5. Hit the next club
6. Gamble and try to win your money back

That's what I've been quoted for, that doesn't include host tip either.

I can get u 2 bottles at XS for 1,200.

This sounds expensive... but actually a great deal, especially for NYE.

I hate Vegas around this time  Mandatory overtime ftl, but at the same time... watching people be people ftw!

With Marquee, unless you're spendin BIG money, you'll most likely be place in the patio area, which is now covered/protected from the elements. You won't be able to see the dj from this location, but they do have a big screen that has a live feed of DJ Chuckie. Boom box room is pretty awesome for hip hop. Dj Romeo from out in SF is the resident DJ and though he played a lot of songs over, was a good time. You might want to consider buying pre-sales for somewhere then popping bottles at Drai's Afterhours if you think you'll be able to hang all night/morning.

Though the forums are quite dead lately, Jack Colton has always been a great source for finding hosts. I go 6 times a year and through the years have built a solid contact list. Check it out. http://forums.jackcolton.com/forum.php

I officially have a table at XS for 1300 plus 500 taxes and tip.

I get one bottle of vodka and one bottle of Tequilla.

6 People = 300 per person

Is that inside or outside?

Are they giving you a complimentary bottle of champagne (usually cheap brand)?
