Other players who had problems with their shoes?

While the LeBron XI is the hot topic, it's got me thinking about instances in the past where players had publicly known issues with their shoes.. Can anyone think of any notable examples?

Air Pippen 1 - Pippen preferred Zoom Air, the version he wore on court had Zoom instead of the retail Air Max

Jordan 10 - Jordan didn't like the toe-cap, had it removed from (almost) all pairs early in production

I dunno if this count but I remember McDyess had a good year the year before  and then early in the next season he mess up his knee and he blamed the Nike shox bb4 for it
