NFL Week 14 In Review...

Eagles
- most satisfying win all season and VERY entertaining in the process
- I certainly would not wanna see a Super Bowl in that weather but it definitely might happen so we might as well accept it
- 9 straight games holding an opponent under 21 points
- in the first half I thought Lesean wouldn't be able to handle the snow, what an adjustment at halftime. My god he destroyed them
- in that mess of a game to only have 1 turnover and take 3 away from the Lions is remarkable
- on to the Vikings without AP, just handle your business Philly and we can be in great shape

Everyone Else
- not a Ravens or Vikings fan but that last 3 minutes or so had me losing my mind, that was a joy to watch :smokin
- LOL at even thinking TJ Ward did anything wrong hitting Gronk like that. This is the football the rules want you to play, deal with it
- Pats got an early Christmas gift from the refs
- yall cannot discredit Peyton for that win like it was just a route from the start, Titans were up in that game for a brief moment
- whole Diplomats roster and coaching staff is a joke :x , felt themselves too much after last years success and were humbled by the league and their own fans who bailed at halftime
- Giants are just as sorry themselves :x , but I bet they STILL won't make any coaching changes this offseason
- Panthers offense is pathetic, I don't think they'll last long in the playoffs. Hopefully they fall out completely
- Seahawks had their chances in that game but couldn't get in the endzone when it mattered. Big win for the 49ers and their playoff hopes
- that tackling display by the Bengals was HORRID

The Chiefs went from the worst team in the league to the best for a large portion of this season and all they changed was their coach and quarterback. I'd say he deserves it.

Not taking away anything from Belicheck or Chip.

Why don't they just rename it to "comeback coach of the year" if the only criteria is the difference in records. No one thought the chiefs had 2-win talent, and they aren't contenders now.

I would prefer they actually honored the best coach doing the best job. And in think the team should at least be contenders.

what josh gordon is doing in cleveland is truly amazing considering the hot turd sandwich he's being getting from the QB spot (and he missed 2 games

.. doing it for short people all around the world

i wish the steelers would have been able to pull it out in the end.. how the hell do you step out there.. i guess it's karma for tomlin trying be slick (i know yall seen that pic)

ummmmm, what happened in the vikes/ravens game? seriously, i kept an eye on the score and just saw the numerous lead changes at the end

and ummmmm, what the hell happened in new england?

ON TO THE EAGLES:

tale of 2 halves.. 1st half we couldnt do shhhhhhhhhhhhhh and then halftime we made adjustments and man o man

if celek would have scored on this play where he pulled a "brain westbrook" the eagles would have broken the record for most points scored in the 4th quarter:

shady went shady in 8 inches of snow:

and chip's "college offense" racks up 300 rushing yards on a team who had the 3rd best rush defense and hadn't allowed a 100 yard rusher all season:

was not happy with our return coverage units giving up 2 tds.. but at least our defense only allowed 1 td, unfortunately we did give up two 2 point conversions

Chiefs made a TON of other changes besides QB and coach, but Reid will probably win it (even though I disagree).

So the Chiefs with the second best record in the league and losses to only Peyton Manning and Phillip Rivers (possibly his best season ever) isn't that impressive and they aren't a contender.

Alright.

Alright.

It's nice. I don't see how that proves Andy Reid has done easily the best coaching job in the league this season.

Rivera , Belichick and Chip are all doing a better job of coaching than Andy Reid this year

-LOVED the adjustments Chip Kelly made with that Eagles offense in the snow. Kudos. Very fun game to watch too.

-Is Cincy a real threat in the playoffs? I don't believe in Andy Dalton, but maybe I should.

-Speaking of real...Josh Gordon. Jesus Christ. One stiff-arm and GONE. Reminded me of Demaryius against the Steelers with Tebow throwing him that slant.

-Seattle lost yesterday but IMO, their performance on the road against a tough Niner team fighting for their playoff lives (missing KJ Wright, Browner, WT3, and Percy) and losing by less than 3 points was more impressive than SF's victory.

-Keeping it in that division, the Cards are cooking. Love watching Fitz making those strong handed *** catches. Really forget how good he is sometimes.

-Nice fight from Tennessee, but Denver is a machine. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Peyton get one more SB to furher silence the critics, me included.

-Lastly, Oakland...just keep losing. We've been competitive in just about every game this year so the mentality is right. We just need the talent now.

One of the greatest football Sundays I've ever seen.

Texans
- Team stanks, and to get wholesale changes, that's exactly the type of on the field effort that was needed. Shanahan better not come here though. You're just asking for more accepted complacency.

Seattle
- Pretty solid game til Gore just blew smooth through the defense. Need to get the next game to make up for it

The League
- Awesome snow games (well, the Ravens game was eventually good). Eagles winning will make tonight's game even more interesting. Almost pressure filled...
- Good job Colts. Refs don't throw as many flags when they slowly start to not believe on you
- will post about others later

Peyton can play in the cold, just not high wind anymore (which is generally associated with cold weather)

This. Those ducks don't fly well through wind and snow.

Gronk :frown:
TJ Ward with an early Xmas gift to Denver
TB12 breaking NT's hearts, again :pimp:
Football in the snow >
Saints at home...scary
The ******* attendance...oh boy
Big Phil in the house
Special Eli in the house
Josh Gordon is disgusting
Coach of the year has to be Chip or Hoodie at this point

everyone being fired, right on schedule. wade is next to go.

i'm hoping david shaw/ bill o'brien/ ray horton for head coach. that's my short list at least

Is Josh Gordon the closest thing in the league right now to Calvin?

Second best receiver in the league right now imo, what he's doing is incredible.

Not even taking into account the QB's he's played with.

Or the fact that he missed two games :x

leading the league in yards :wow:

old man dre hanging in there. 3rd in yards behind megatron and gordon

-I knew the Giants were gonna get blown out yesterday...thank the lord for NFL league pass :pimp:

-I know a lot of good corners hold here and there but c'mon Sherman

-Cam Newton needs another wideout for him and Smitty

-Broncos gotta put up at least 35 just to win games

-Whether they get screwed or not why do I feel like its the same script every week with the Pats?

-Shady McCoy is lethal no matter the weather

-Mike Shanahan goodbye

-Flacco showed why he got that contract

Being a cowboys fan has nothing to do with FACTS.

And the facts are every starting qb not named geno smith has a higher rating than Eli.

He's on pace to lead the league in ints(again).

Once again all facts.

You probably think all INTs fall on the QB as well right, esp when the ball is throw right in the hands of players like Randle/Myers and it bounces off their chest to the opposing team?

Eli has had to force the issue all season long and carry the brunt of the weight, and that's not how you'll have success in the league, don't care who you are. Then season it with one of the worst offensive lines in the league with zero consistent pass protection.

Nobody said Eli is having a good season, but to say second worst is laughable and use QB rating to backup as if it's not flawed.

So the Chiefs with the second best record in the league and losses to only Peyton Manning and Phillip Rivers (possibly his best season ever) isn't that impressive and they aren't a contender.

Alright.

They have a very very good all around team, they just don't have a great team imo.

Sometimes that's all it takes, but that team begins and ends with the defense/special teams making plays.
