Can I get some quick computer/TV help NT?... Booty pics included....

Basically you want to use your TV as an external monitor?

You can do that with Mac/Apple TV very easily. Not sure about PC although I'm sure there's software to do that.

Plug the HDMI from your tv to your laptop like you would a playstation or xbox.

well yeah, that's what I do lol... but how can I make it so that the laptop screen is showing something different than whats on the TV screen.... Windows 7 btw...

Right click on the desktop if you have windows and click screen resolution.

Click on the screen that the tv then on Multiple screens click on Extend to this display on the menu.

Move the screen where the tv is position to the laptop

Enjoy

was gonna put this exactly

not helping you because you posted photoshopped pics minus Adrienne Bosh.

But like someone else said, right click on the desktop in space and go to Resolution and set your tv as the 2nd screen and not mirror. It depends on your video card it might be slightly different but that's essentially it. You can just go to control panel, display.

Been trying to figure this out for a few weeks. Dude I was with had his "labtop" hooked up to the TV and what was on his screen wasn't what was showing up on TV. I didn't want to ask. So yea, thanks

Connect PC to your TV via HDMI.

Go to your display settings, and with your detected television set the display mode to "Extend the desktop to monitor whatever"

Open the file you want to play, click and drag over, wallah, dope boy magic.

Whatever PC you're using has to have a video card capable of handling multiple displays.

Most modern cards can handle 2, highly likely you're good to go. Have fun.

I do this, cut the cord bout a year ago.

Edit: Man I'm on my phone at work. I hate whoever bumped this old *** thread
