Do they seriously think this kind of garbage can be sold more than that Trainer Max Med Ball one even with that pricing? I know it's probably marked-up for pre-order, but $283 for this is just insane.:smh:

Man i'm hoping those trainer max 360's didn't get canceled. :smh: at those things up there. Spizike trainers?

this bo jax shoe maybe part of a pack with griffey 1 colorway they have similar design....

Was hoping to get another medicine ball after my pair from I think '11 started to cracked already. Terrible quality

^^ how old are you?

I saw Bo Jackson play in his prime, both sports. He was and is the best athlete to ever step on a field. The fastest 40 time at the combine ever, i think 4.12. Power and speed in a package that has never been seen before.

What current player deserves it?

we need answers dammit

I'm guessing they got canceled. I'm trying to remember what season's catalog they were listed in, but I think it has long since passed.

On a similar note, there is yet another DIFFERENT Bo signature hybrid set to release next year. More poop, Imo.

Peace,
J

Huarache Trainer in Black/Grey also, right?

I'm not saying he wasn't a multisport beast. I get that.

But I'm saying why give a signature shoe to someone that can't wear it in their respective sport to drive sales? Jordan Brand sells on name alone now BUT they gained their popularity when he was still playing. Bo Jackson had the trainers associated with him. He's not still playing though. I can't imagine many Jackson fans will buy his shoes simply because it's his shoe. There is no emotional connection to the shoes x the player outside of name on the box. We remember watching Jordan sink the game winner in the "last shots". That's a moment forever etched in our memories.

As far as current crop of talent goes? No one in major sports in a twosporter at this time. When Jameis Winston goes pro in two years he might could pull of football/baseball we have yet to see. He's good at both on the collegiate level so far.

Someone who could potentially be deserving of a shoe deal? Why not Johnny Manziel? Make it be a sneaker than could be given a cleat bottom. He's popular. He's got his detractors but he's talented no doubt. It worked for Michael Vick until he got caught up in that legal situation. I wasn't a Vick fan
fanboy but I owned his shoes (Cowboys fan actually).

I'm 23 by the way. Nearly 24. I'm well aware of who Bo Jackson is.

My point is even if I was a huge Bo Jackson/Auburn fan I wouldn't buy the shoes just because his name is on the box. It goes back to the emotional disconnect. You want to be able to see the shoes on TV and then wear them yourself. That's why anyone ever bought Jordan's or Kobe's or Lebron's or Melo's or Vick's or Rose's or any other player with a sneaker deal. You want to be able to wear what you see on TV.

An example: I was in House of Hoops the other day. Overheard a boy having a conversation with his mom and sales associate about a pair of Lebrons. He was 12 tops. Had on normal kid Nike shoes likely retail for $60. "Mom...I really want those Lebrons for my birthday. He's my favorite basketball player and I want to be like him when I grow up. That is the colors he was wearing in the game the other night!" That is why a retired player in my opinion is undeserving of getting a shoe line AFTER their playing days are over. Had the shoe line started when he was active I wouldn't have this same opinion because it would fall into the Jordan category.

Yea its stupid giving bo jackson a sig now. Its called whoring your former sig players out while giving them a couple of bucks because they arent doing as well as their playing days.

Nike is a disgusting company. We all know that. They even whoring out a puppet now and gave it its own sig shoe

Well get ready, because there's a new Pippen on the way, too.

Penny V wasn't bad. Just that it didn't look like a Penny. Like many of Dolce's shoes, a few design choices hurt the shoe

Kinda looking forward to the Penny 6, whenever that drops.

penny 6? after 3 they needed to stop, 1s are the best 2s are awesome and 3s were so differnt you had to like em but they need to stop this, now with that being said i never wanted any of his shoes until those sample med ball pics came out with the new air bubble but of course since i found something i finally like they would cancel them

Mrs. Greyman really likes the "south beach" colorway....she says it reminds her of a Barbie doll she had as a girl.
