FIRST LOOK: Bo Jackson's First Signature Shoe for Fall 2014

Got a look at these at the boutique this past weekend. I was/am a huge Bo fan. To say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement. I put one on(size 13) and it seemed overly bulky, cartoon character shoes was first thought after checking the mirror. But thats just me

Talking about former players, Bo would be in the same boat as Penny IMO. At this point, you should definitely stop milking them and move on. But Nike would rather milk them vs. taking on new athletes and paying them.

I kinda see it as disrespect. You cant tell me Bo was like: Yeah....how about a "South Beach colorway." Retro's are one thing, but things have gotten ridiculous. I thought the Lunar 180 SC's were bad enough, sale tags hanging from them when ever I see them. I do like some of the Non-OG color ways, if done right it can be refreshing. I see Pippen is sitting down with Nike and doing another shoe, if its anything like this, Ill spend my money elsewhere

The Bo trainers are an iconic nike shoe, one of the first if it's kind. The commercial, the player, the timeline ....... And they give us this garbage? :smh:

I mean its just so lazy and sloppy to pick up these sig lines decades later

Im sorry but a ******* puppet has his own shoe.

A ******* puppet

I ordered the south beach colorway of the Air Max Bo Jax yesterday on nike.com. These will be my first real "odd color" shoe. Trying to do something different for once. How do these feel and how are these cut?

The bulkiness reminds me of the max muscles from years back. Don't see why a grey white black basic colorway wouldn't work.

Those "south beach" colored ones are buns.

The shoe itself is just typical nike "ahhhh lets just put two shoes together" outlet bound garbage. If they didn't slap on Jackson's name these wouldn't even have a thread about them.

So I bought the black hyper punch (http://sneakernews.com/2014/10/01/nike-air-max-bo-jax-hyper-punch/) for $70 shipped.  It's actually a good looking shoe and very comfortable.  If you get past the fact that it's a fusion of various models, and people's general hate for that concept, it's actually quite a nice design.  I'm a fan of OG models, and grew up wearing them, but I can appreciate a well put together design.  Another example is the Son of Mars low.  If that shoe had launched as the Jordan 4 in '89, everyone would have loved it.  It doesn't look hokey; it's actually very clean, and the quality is arguably much better than 3s and 4s recently.

I wish the Trainer TW 360 (the medicine ball version shown earlier in the thread) would have launched.  Great looking shoe with a much higher level of comfort.  I only wish that Nike would use a lower PSI in their 360 air maxes b/c I don't find them as soft as they should be.  I guess if I weighed 50lbs more they would probably be more cushy....heh.

Are these pinky toe killers like air Trainers usually are? I like the look of these for under $80 but if they going to murder my pinky toe i will pass even if its full length max air.
