Drunk In Love (feat. Jay-Z) Beyoncé

Would be 100% better without jay z on it

JayZ has been ruining some dope songs lately. I think we can all agree that he definitely ruined the music video.

I definitely feel like he could've been left off the track. It would've been cool if he did like a quick bridge or a background quote or something, kinda like how jeezy was in the banding of can't tell me nothing. Literally the only part i like is when he says something about her repping that 3rd, other than that one bar, son shouldve stayed in the maybach with blue.

I'm sitting here trying to j-off to Beyonce video and then outta no where this camel comes out and starts rapping about airplanes like wtf.

Whatever remix was posted is trash.

Kanye's version was straight. Funny but corny.

Jay's verse is *** but it's expected now.

The Weeknd's Remix was decent.

Man y'all are some weirdos b. Firstly, why the hell you fappin to music videos man? Lol. And secondly, in a song about Jay-Z and Beyonce's sex life, why would Jay-Z not be in the video? And I'm absolutely convinced some of yall truly don't even try to listen and decipher what's being said in the music sometimes. The G3 line is a clear metaphor for reaching sexual peak. That's what he meant by "reach this height." The 4, 5, 6 flights meaning the number of times they're having sex.

I honestly don't see why some of y'all don't like his verse. It fits the song perfectly. Other than the the D'usse plug, there's nothing wrong with the verse. He perfectly painted a drunken sex image.

Anyways, the Diplo and Weeknd remix are both great. Kanye's remix is just aight.

Hov's verse is the only thing I can't tolerate. Dude's guest verses have been really poor lately. Song is dope otherwise.

video without jay's verse :smokin

some have probably seen some, but there are articles bashing jay over what they interpret as his glorification of domestic violence

Here's a few lines of something written in one of the articles I came across:

It's not the only problematic line in the song, with Jay Z claiming to

"beat the box up like Mike in '97, I bite"

– thereby implying that Beyoncé might be partial to rather enthusiastic sex (since box is a slang term for the vagina he'd be proverbially beating up) by referencing a convicted rapist. And so, at risk of adding to the Beyoncé-as-a-feminist thinkpiece bubble that had burst by Christmas 2013, it feels worthwhile to at least explore the silence on whether this lyric means anything.

somebody que the "LOL, Que?" pic please.

I accepted Jay's verse for what it was in the track. Anybody expecting some lyrical masterpiece should be ashamed of themselves. That Kanye version......well, I guess

I thought they were about to reference the eat the cake annie mae line, which is the only thing that's remotely close to domestic violence in that verse.

idk...maybe it's me....but i think people who have no sarcasm/joke meter

are more weirdos than people making a simple joke/sarcastic comment

You speak for that man and his Johnson @niquefreak94? Nters have taken to talking about fappin on the daily. Some of these dudes aren't joking.

Anyways, TI's remix was trash. Diplo's still the hardest.

Song is trash imo, can't stand listening to Beyonce.

The Weeknd remix was straight but Future still has the best version.

Just found out when she says "I been drinking watermelon" she's actually talking about drinking nut. I used to be signing that **** and didn't even know it. :smh:
