Air Jordan 3 Retro - Wolf Grey - Metallic Silver - Black - White

Got mines today and went straight to work on em. Wasn't feeling the white or grey laces so I swapped them with the 3M reflective black and silver laces from the Baron 1 which really completed the overall look of the shoe by adding to the metallic silver scheme.  Time to double up and make another set.

Not really.

Besides Jokers and Fears, which non-og color way has sold well in recent years?

Infareds, Metallics, and Crimson 3s all sat.

If there are no 3s sitting in stores than they sold pretty well right?
I guess we have a different opinion on selling well. ALL of their shoes sell well whether they sell out instantly or not, they all eventually sell.

I didn't know the infrareds sat....I would have bought those!  It's amazing how fixated people are on OG colorways.  I bet if Tinker launched some of these new CWs on the OG version instead, people would have been just as in love with them.  Some of them may very well have been among the dozens of concept CWs they undoubtedly had.  Those were also simpler times when shoes weren't as flashy or colorful.  Personally I prefer the look of the midsole with the black all around (like the infrareds), rather than the OG where the black is only on the heel portion.  But b/c it's not OG people don't like it.  I bet Tinker and team reviewed that color difference as well, and for whatever reasons chose what they did.  I'd love get some of the OG CWs I had when they first launched, but happy to get easy pickups on cool new CWs that people are sleeping on...bring it on!

Jokers were gone instantly and you almost never see them on feet. Mochas weren't appreciated earlier nor the do the right things and look @ the demand or prices for those. The Infrareds are the cleanest non og of the last few grs that dropped. They didn't do bad or great with any of these new 3s and the sport blue looks like a mash up of the true blues and bk cements to me. Passed on all except the Infrareds. But as someone stated they will all eventually sell even those horrible crimsons.

This conversation seems to keep coming up.

Oreo V's sat for months, yet it was reported they sold more units than any other Jordan last year. The Oreo V's that had absolutely no hype. That should tell everyone that sitting in stores says absolutely nothing about sales. A shoe can sit for months because it's genuinely disliked. Or it could sit because there are just that many pairs. Either way, its not the only factor in how well the shoe is selling. What's more, I wouldn't even say the Infrared's "sat" in the general term as if no one wanted them and they're still widely available in stores. Infrared 3's, Powder Blue 3's, Infrared 10's, none of them sold out the morning of release, but they still sold out within a few days/weeks.

Bingo u hit the nail on the head. The Oreos r a perfect example even tho their not a 3. Point is people act like these shoes don't sell well just because they didn't instantly sell out well that's wrong

Like @Jays25  said, JB picks a few colorways a year and makes a ton of them.

Jokers and Fears were both limited, Fear 3s would have sat for years if they were a GR(I own a pair, they suck).

Flip the allocations of infrared23 6s and white infrared 6s from earlier this year and everybody would be chasing the white pair and you'd be able to find infrared23s for close to retail.

Thing is in the long run every retro either sells out or is gone from store after a month or 2. Most of us are use to retros being gone first day, if not by end of weekend and that's the norm.
When some see a retro for more than 2weeks it's considered sitting now. A plethora hate the word sitting but with how things are with retro's it kinda is. Black and yellow 14s will disappear soon in store, but I would consider those HEAVY sitters

While I'm sure I couldn't do anywhere near this well myself, I'm not really liking how shiny these look.  It doesn't look natural; it looks painted.  I much prefer the blacked out pair shown earlier (page 32ish).
