I'm sorry fams, just never could get down with Zelda, and I've tried playing multiple times. Link was ok to fight with on Smash Bros. Final Fantasy I can deal with.

No videogame soundtrack is ******g with the kingdom hearts soundtrack. 1 or 2.

Just not happening. Those 2 soundtracks are better than kanyes last 3 albums.

I mostly agree. I don't know why they won't make deals with the other video game software companies and get a couple other more mature games.

I mean if they're gonna just market to kids, go hard at it and give them a lot of choices.

Because their hardware is inferior and driven by gimmicks.

Nintendo could easily make a console as powerful as their competition.

Nobody wants to develop ports for a weaker system. Why make a heavy hitter title for Nintendo, when you have Sony and M$

Well that's what I mean, when I heard and read about the Wii in GamePro it was noted they did not match or exceed the competitions hardware capability so things could keep advancing quality wise.

I'm wondering why they don't. Are they that cheap? I mean they're still surviving and show no signs of going under but it doesn't make much sense to me.

Man thats just Nintendo's excuse for being so damn cheap and lazy.

Pokemon, Mario, and Zelda has nintendo so far up its own ***. If it weren't for their handhelds and Wii sports, Nintendo would have been taken the Sega route.

Nintendo is afloat because they make child friendly games. Millions of parent have gone and bought their kids Wii's and DS'...But thats only going to get them so far.

Nintendo is high on their own fumes, and they have every right to be. Those gimmicks make MONEY. But what happens 10 years from now? What happens when kids stop wanting DS' and Pokemon and start wanting tablets with the next generation of bird themed games?

Nintendo is about to go out like Peyton in the Super Bowl tonight if they don't change their act.


No dambs about Mario. No mario game has grabbed me like Super Mario world for SNES.


And Kingdom hearts fell off after the first one IMO. It hasn't held my attention since.


The soundtrack is majestic though. No arguing with that.

I think kids will always like the kiddie stuff they pitch though. Pokemon may go out of style but they'll just license w/e kiddie thing is popular next if they can.
 
nintendo is still popular because they continue to make great games, every main pokemon/zelda/mario game has been a classic 

its not like nba2k or cod where they just comeout with the same game with small changes every year. the 3d zelda and mario franchises are the most flawless franchises in gaming history

Halo was originally supposed to be an RTS on the Mac platform
Titanfall was originally supposed to be for PS4 :smh: :smh:


Don't be surprised if Microsoft steals Nintendo's next big thing too :lol:



But maybe that will give them the fire they need to actually release a console that does more than play Zelda :smh:

Flawless and classics are opinions. I can't argue that, because it depends on the gamer.

But I will say this - I'm willing to bet that 70-75% of Nintendo system sales were more than likely for children...


That is why Nintendo is still popular. Nobody bought the Wii for Zelda. They got it for Wii Sports...

Thats more than likely the reason why the Wii U is such a flop compared to the original Wii...

The Wii U doesn't have a console seller. They ran out of gimmicks. That 2nd screen isn't appealing to children. Thats something some adult wants. And casual gaming adults aren't buying this new Wii. Why? Because there's nothing new about it. Its Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon... The same **** we've had for decades. Kids want handhelds. Thats why the 3DS isn't flopping...

The only people who justify Nintendo's current fails are the adults who won't let those old tired games go.

FPS's aren't the answer, but condamn. How many Mario games have there been in the last 20+ years?

Super Mario 3 >>> Any other Mario game. Idc idc idc. At one point I played it so much my moms made me stop cuz she walked by my room one night and I was making the hand motions like I was playing while asleep. Mario & Luigi superstar saga is a close 2nd with paper mario in 3rd.
 
Ima have to go with supermario world for the snes.

Also the first mario for gameboy is very fun to me
