If your shirt wasn't 3XL and your pants wasn't size 36-40 or greater in '04 you were a lame

real talk, especially in the south

There were alot of "ive been wearing fitted clothes since i was a kid" types out there but if you did most likely you were a lame. EVERYBODY wore over-sized clothes back then. Yes in hindsight it looked incredibly foolish but that was the style

I shake my head at myself for buying 4 for 20 tall tees @ Footlocker.

I cant believe that ish was cool

dmv lets not forget the jean shorts with bleach spots and/or the self made rips lol also with the rainbow letter madness or slouch socks

Sorry guys, tall T's were always for lames. Don't let crime mob tell you otherwise

Well I guess EVERYBODY was lame for that brief period. You weren't cool unless you never went out sided, played zelda, & didn't get any girls

Had to buy two pairs of white on whites in 04.
Mids.

Mids were ok back then though.

For some reason, they just dont look "right" anymore.

No, because not everyone walked around with an Alvin and the chipmunks shirt on. Only thing worse than a talk t was a talk t with the "tall t" sticker still on it

People actually bought the tall tees from footlocker?

I use to cop the 3 for 12 with the thick collar from the barbershop :smokin

They were never OD long tho.

If u was short it def wasnt a good look.
I see ALOT of people wearing long tees now just slimmer

for some reason they just dont look "right"

I still keep a pair on deck 8) but yea asap and all dem street style bloggers killed the mids

Avirex leather was on point.
I remember those coats being big here in the DMV from 97-99... That leather was so soft! I didn't get one back then, but I remember I wanted one when I was in middle school.. I can honestly say that the prices for those Avirex coats matched the quality. I don't say that often with items.. I was only 10-12 years old when it was hot, but if I was making miney back then, I wouldn't have mind dropping $600 plus for those coats because the quality of that leather was that good..

The saddest thing was when you could tell dude washed the white tall t multiple times because it was already yellowish and the sticker was hanging on for dear life from being taken off and put back on over and over again. LOL

Nah, flavs (AF1's) are still my S*****. I wear what I like, not what folks say it outta style.

Its just that I havent had a pair of Mids in forever...
Might cop a white pair for the summer

& once the cornerstore & barbershops started to sell the regular thick neck white tees, tall tees went in the garbage
Those were too wide though

These days, a pack of haynes tees does the trick for me :smokin
