Again, your "what if" isn't the reality. Right NOW the weed industry is killing people. The plant itself doesn't kill people, the industry that it has created here IS. That industry is in direct relation with weed.

Drinking kills so many people I have no idea why it's so easy to get, but the US was built on several industries.... Two of which are tobacco and alcohol . I feel they reject the legalization of weed to almost say "hey, we do care...... A little....".
I personally think getting drunk for a couple hours isn't worth the all day hangover the next day.
