Generally I would agree with you man.

It seems though as some one posted earlier sexuality is being blurred. I've spoken to some 16-17 yr old boys and girls who do whatever cuz it's there. There is no natural sexuality these days to be honest, again this is from what I'm seeing by talking to people and watching the media

I don't get why people are so hung up over backwards compatibility with game consoles these days.

Just keep the ******g old console.

Did the super nintendo play NES games? Did the Dreamcast play Saturn games?

It's not why, it's why not. Back then consoles literally couldn't do it. Now, they choose not to do it because companies have realized people still buy older consoles.

It's not why, it's why not. Back then consoles literally couldn't do it. Now, they choose not to do it because companies have realized people still buy older consoles.

If we make this an argument based in logic then NO being straight is not a preference and being gay IS. Here is why

People love to make sex about the pleasures we get from it, but the primary function of sexual activity is to REPRODUCE. To carry on and sustain the human race. But one thing that we all know, that CANNOT be argued, is that it takes a male sperm and a female egg to reproduce a human being. Therefore the attraction betweena male and a female is inherently natural, because it serves the intended purpose of reproduction.

On the other hand, we have never seen nor will we ever see a baby born from two sperm or two eggs. Homosexual couples can have babies through adoption, surrogacy, artificial insemination etc., but the fact remains that it MUST be a male sperm and a female egg. Therefore the attraction between two women or two men is inherently unnatural because it does not serve the intended purpose of reproduction.

I dont have any problem with homosexuals and I believe they should have the same rights any other couple has. They should be able to get married, share assets, and have visitation rights. I think they should be able to live a life free of any kind of discrimination or violence against them just because of who they love. But then again I think these are just basic human rights that everyone should enjoy.

But at the end of the day and on until the end of the next morning and through that afternoon and evening, I see a lot of kids that have yet to go through puberty but have already committed themselves to someone of the same sex. Which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

And that is why I lean toward sexual preference being a choice. And I say lean, because there is a very small gray area in which sexual assignment at birth is disrupted, which can lead to complications down the road. But that gray area is not nearly a big as some people try to make it seem.
Those are my thoughts on the subject. You dont have to agree with me as I dont always agree with all of you, but I will respect your opinions and expect the same in return.

While you have a valid point and reasoning behind it, evolution takes place into it as well.

Things change over the course of time.

Or could it also be a genetic disposition?

The same way some are pedophiles ? Or some enjoy animals over people ? Or can get aroused from a corpse ?

Now I'm not in no way shape or form comparing a gay life style to either of those things, but isn't it possible that everyone isn't wired the same?

And while the majority maybe "straight".

Some are wired "gay" , etc....
 
Big bang theory was a funny show now the writing the past couple season have been terrible. It's become pretty unwatchable.

SMH @ gay being a preference.

The examples you've given are the result of trauma, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, sexual frustration, or mental illness. Don't see how that helps your point as to non of those are based off of evolution or genetic disposition.




And smh and your racist remark.

:lol: I don't think its THAT bad. Thats the ultimate deal breaker.

Yeah I know they should be able to, but there wouldn't be any real value of your old consoles if the newest ones could play the games.

I was just never really the type to be caught up in that I guess.

I applaud your sensibility, and hate to bring this back, but different traits don't necessarilly make for unnatural.

PS4 wouldn't be $399 if it was backwards compatible. Xbone wouldn't be $499 if it included backwards compatible. Now sure, you may be willing to pay....idk $100 more for BC, but probably most people would rather not.

PS3 is a bit more complex than PS1/PS2....

if my computer can still play games from 1997 i dont see why it would be that hard to make ps4s play ps3 games

the reason they dont do it is so people have more reason to buy new ps4 games

if all your old ps3 games dont work anymore you're more likely to go out and buy random ps4 games to play

It's not that they can't, it's just that they can't do it at a reasonable price point.

Say you're in charge of selling as many PS4's as possible. What system do you put on the market:

-A less powerful PS4 with BC for $399

-PS4 as it is now for $399

-PS4 as it is PLUS BC for $499 (which is generous considering the cheapest PS3 is $199.99)
