I'm sure most wouldn't mind that music in the club or at functions because that's where they belong. However that **** is in the mainstream and it sucks. Look at what Kid & Play did. They did it right. Good song and something you could dance to.

Ain't nobody say trap music was horrible in general. Party music is party music.

I don't go to the club expecting to hear some **** I can't get drunk and go ham to.


But too much of one thing is a bad thing.

And thats actually part of the problem, you can sit and say in confidence that trap is "this generation"... Like thats the only style thats out. Thats exactly how everyone looks at hip hop right now. And thats where the problem lies. There's more to rap than trap, but nobody would know cause thats all they're forcing down your throat nowadays. (pause)


Oh yeah, and the Khaled, Ross, Drake, Wayne, and Montana collabs need to stop bruh. Thats sort of what started all this ****. Ross got one hit, then used the same beat like 6 times and killed the club, now everyone trying to take his formula and cash out.

Ain't nothing wrong with that in the right setting. I like to not give a **** sometimes too, but for everything to be about slangin', bangin', n bangin' ain't cool. I used to be able to tolerate the radio n watch music videos, but now everyone wants to portray something they aren't. There's some dudes that can pull it off n still be lyrical n technical, but it's slim to none.

The labels and radio are killin hiphop not the regions.. Wack ish gets pushed to the forefront while the dope ish gets pushed to the side. Hip-Hop is being dumbed down as a whole and you have the labels and radio to thank for that. For the most part thatz how people recieve their music, it always has and it always will. People are too lazy to seek out dope music, they would rather be spoon fed and settle with what is being offered.
None of this terrible music would've got spins back in the 90's and early 2000's..
 
Paranormal Activity is one of the best horror franchises out there, story-wise.
 
Nas greatest song was "just a moment" the realest rap song since keep ya head up, besides that nas is mediocre as an artist (not lyricist)

You know that Benz would be the nicest car you've ever seen if it just had some proper rims. But the owner just has the worst taste in wheels.


And thats why Jay stays winning. Dude is like a Bimmer on Asanti's or Vossens or something...

I've been told that some of the traditional east coast rappers are like this so as to not let the beat take the attention away from them rapping.

Southern rap has been sabotaged.

Most ppl think Texas rap started with screw when there were many different movements before.

Old school southern rap sounds a lot like West Coast rap.


You wanna know what ruined rap?

Dumb people with drug money, but not enough culture to continue the legacy of how hip hop started.

Too many dope dealer storied and lifestyles were able to be broadcasted louder than the real story tellers.

Nas reminds me a lot of Chappele.

Like he's cool doing features and shows. Just not interested in that #1 spot like Jay.

The problem with these good rappers is that when they first start out, their lyrics sound like something out of the Someone blow my minds conspiracy thread. By the time they start getting famous and want to be broadly accepted, they end up with TAN lyrics.

Nas will the test of time imo.

He shoulda did a Belly sequel were he went to Africa, and X got high up in that organization he was in. :smokin
