Who cares who it does or doesn't belong to. Hip Hop is nothing to be proud of in today's time.

"Hip hop aint dead it live in the south, it gotta be alive cause it just bought me a house, it just gave me a deal, im just bout to come out"

:pimp:

In what way do you think my jimmies are rustled? All I've done is reply to a few posts I disagree or agree with.

You the one over here talking about you contribute you nothing, you aint say nothing. I'm not taking this seriously despite what you think. There's no way I could take your post serious. That's why it's getting the least amount of effort when I reply.

But don't worry I'll provide a whole dissertation on my thesis why hip hop culture is apart of black culture on pg 4,815,162,342 going by 30 ppg settings.
cool bruh. you didnt take it serious but replied to it.

ill be waiting for that thesis then. hopefully when you decide to stop acting like some type of pseudo intellectual who has'nt any time for simple folk, you'll finally put together a decent read.

Hip hop is in a good state, its just to easy to become a "rapper" these days, the internet is a gift & a curse

See I'd post another laughing emoticon and be done with it but you clearly feel some type of way.

I'm not sure how I was trying to come off as an intellectual in my posts for you to even say I'm acting like a pseudo intellectual I'll just chalk that up to passive aggressive ad hominem attacks.

I might change my name to Master Rustler the way you replying to me. Keep waiting though, that good read is coming.

pusha t dropped damned good album and i aint even a fan
sometimes u gotta look pass the bs to find the good stuff

There's plenty of great hip hop music in the underground. That's why I rarely agree with the hip hop is dead thing. To me it's just a name of a Nas album. At the most the mainstream is dying (since every now and then some good music will reach the mainstream) and commercial hip hop is dead (since nothing good comes from that and anybody can rap).

I didn't say it as if ALL of it's trash, but the majority is.

I'm tired of hearing all these rappers talking about the same ****. Materialistic BS, violence and drugs is all we're getting.

I've accepted that my generation of music is over. Now I'm not saying I shut off anything new, but music has become a circle jerk of producers and "artists". Everyone is on everyone's album, the same producers work with everyone. Being back dudes flaming each other. Bring back the hate for anyone not in your circle. Being back the competition. Hiphop is soft now.

Maybe that's why I feel this way. Only so many times I can hear people talk about the same **** I guess. And the quality then far higher than what we're getting now.

You don't know what ad hominem attacks are? I think you're trying too hard to say I'm trying too hard to sound intelligent (despite most ppl knowing what those words mean) and at this point you can't help but reply to me.

If you want the last word just say so. This angle of I'm trying to sound intelligent isn't really working. You can quote me here with some other nonsense cuz you're still salty I disagreed with you and called you out on your overly sensitive opinion about hip hop and black culture and I'll let you have it.

This is a legal problem manifesting.

All these people signed to the same entity makes it a violation of their contract to speak ill of their label mates.

That's why in an interview, a mainstream artist will say yes to just about everybody you ask are they feeling right now.

Someone independent(or on their way out their deal) with an opinion on what they like and don't like is gonna be honest because they have no agreements to uphold, but they will be made to look at as hard to work with, or the media will spin it into beef.

The glory days of hip hop was win different camps did their own thing and they all sounded unique.

Now everything has been homogenized for easy consumption for all.

This is a symptom of corporate consolidation and why true corporations are divided an given departments and organizational structure. Allowing opposition to naturally occur. When you set up a seemingly perfect system where everyone complies and agrees with everything, it is inherently flawed.

We The Young Money Maybach Good Best Music. If you're not on any one of those (mainstream wise), your name is J. Cole, Jay-Z, and Kendrick Lamar...who in some way still collaborate with all those labels
