if everyone got payed equally there would be no reason for anyone to work hard and do a good job. if people dont get payed equally the poor would be jealous of the rich and the rich would look down on the poor.

its impossible to make everyone equal and everything fair, but it is possible to raise the standard of living for all social classes and thats what we (as people) have been doing throughout history
But what about technology? Automation? It's gonna make us deal with these issues soon. Especially a post - scarcity society
The Economist talks about "The coming storm" - 47% of today's jobs could be automated within 20 years "No government is prepared for it." Suggests a radical rethinking of education and redistributive taxes towards lower-wage workers

there will never be a post scarcity society, but automation will cause a lot of unemployment in the future and they will have to look into that. sadly the human race has become too efficient for its still growing population

What I want to say is hard to post because you won't be able to see or hear how I feel. So I'm guessing, a world where we are all equal, living healthier longer lives, not judging each other by a status, and fixing any other subject that brings separation amongst us as humans is a bad idea?? :smh:
No plenty ppl want that. It's just how you want to go about getting there, sustaining it, and not becoming corrupt in the process.

As good as it sounds, feels like a pipe dream to me barring certain circumstances.

Damn she look bad smdh

All publicity is NOT good publicity.

Everyone does NOT get 15 mins of fame.

Drugs > money > dogs > people. I'm sure everyone can sort out that meaning or what it relates to

I've explored both sides and many other options but please tell me exactly how would you want society to function and operate in a reasonable manner that's actually feasible when it comes to things like this?

Cuz whether it's money or trading for goods since the dawn of civilization this is how things have basically been. Outside of the possible few villages and small communities I don't know of any society that works off of giving ppl what they need because they deserve it.

I'm not saying how things are is the best way for it to be done but it is the way the majority has chosen whether it's completely working for them or not. They believe in this way of life and apparently are satisfied with failing or thriving with it.

You'd basically have to takeover a 3rd world country and run it your way to prove your way is better, more efficient and/or fairest.

I'm not one of those tards that thinks all money is evil.

We basically have a blank check monetary system.

Our money supply needs some value to back it up.

I think this issue is clear with the currency wars going on right now in the world.

The system we have would work fine if it wasn't rigged.

I'm not some wanna be survivalist trying to master living off the grid.

just someone who wants more transparency and truth.
Ok, I feel you on that.

On paper, that is exactly what this nation is supposed to be.
Sadly, hypocrites signed it.

History is filled with ppl and groups with ideals claiming to want the best for all while doing the complete opposite in reality.

Indeed bruh.

What you said reminded me of something I came across the other day.

Ben Franklin Wasn’t Allowed to Write the Declaration of Independence Because the Boys Thought He’d Sneak In Bad Jokes

Franklin was known for putting more subtle jokes in many of his other papers that only the most astute would spot. He was so famous for this that, according to Ormand Seavey, editor of Oxford’s edition of Ben Franklin’s autobiography, when they were deciding who should write the Declaration of Independence, they partially chose Jefferson over the significantly more qualified and respected Franklin, as some feared Franklin would embed subtle humor and satire in it that wouldn’t be recognized until it was too late to change. Knowing this document would likely be examined closely by the nations of the world at that time, they chose to avoid the issue by having the much less gifted writer, Jefferson, write it instead, with Franklin and three others to help Jefferson draft it.

Another amusing story about the Founding Fathers: George Washington was courageous and a great leader … but a horrible general, especially at first. In the very first battle he led, Washington “brilliantly” seized the low ground … and the British fired down from surrounding hills and won the battle.
