That's a naive and stereotypical way to look at his music though. While I agree that Drake is extremely narcissistic with his music, his music is not filled with saving jumpoffs and simp music. It has far more depth than that and if one were to just take a thorough listen to his catalog, one would see just that.

I am not saying Drake is better, I would never do that. I'm a huge Pac fan. Pac's versatility is incredible and partly why I'm such a huge fan of his. All I'm saying is stereotypes like the aforementioned are used to discredit Drake's music when its more than that and musically, it isn't blasphemous to put the two in the same light. They both are incredible at what they do.

And since when does making music "with substance" automatically make you better? That's not a universal criteria. That may be yours, but it isn't everybody's.

Drake is not in Pac's league son. It's pointless to compare 'em cuz they make 2 totally different types of music. Substance in music matters, it's not the only thing but its part of it. Pac's music was powerful, Drake's doesn't carry much weight outside of a few joints. I've heard enough of Drakes music to know what dude talks about.

Kendrick and Rocky were already popping and you're doing exactly what I was talking about. Dude rides the hot new rapper and his crazy fans will start saying Drake put 'em on. Rocky and especially Kendrick would be right where they're at with or without your boys help.

Not eem gonna try and discuss your opinion on Drake's music. It's subjective. I think you're wrong though. But whatever. The other stuff? Not subjective at all.

So rocky and Kendrick was already on a national scale before Drake? Really? Alright man :lol: that's just wrong but if you say so.

And Rocky and Kendrick may have popped without Drake's help, but we can only go by what actually happened. Drake gave both of them huge features for their debut albums and even put Kendrick on a grammy award winning project in Take Care. Not to mention taking them on tour before they were national acts. All of that is straight facts. That's not stanning. All facts.
