He influenced all of the Ruff Ryder's and guess who was in the double R? The lox, who I could argue are the hardest rappers out TODAY , 2014. You kno when dmx came out with its dark and hell is hot and flesh of my flesh? 1998. 16 years ago. Dude was hungry, made 2 classic albums in 1 year. gave the ruff ryders anthem buzz. He was at the top of the game on def jam in 98' , came out before g-unit - dipset - stete property- definitly way before MMG and we the best. They was too the east coast what was death row to the west coast. Sorta kinda, maybe reaching .
D block, And full surface (Cassidy label) and bad boy Later were all pretty much influenced from ruffryders
I can't tell you how many days that the song slippin' got me through some bad days.

And Rocky and Kendrick may have popped without Drake's help, but we can only go by what actually happened. Drake gave both of them huge features for their debut albums and even put Kendrick on a grammy award winning project in Take Care. Not to mention taking them on tour before they were national acts. All of that is straight facts. That's not stanning. All facts.

A feature and a tour is not putting somebody on. It helps get you name out to the pop world but you're making it sound like Drake made their career's. Sigel n State prop was really what I grew up Really listening too. Being from close to Philly that's really who I was Rollin with while in north jersey/NY it was definitly Dipset and G-unit. Sigel is my favorite rapper. Raw, wish he never fell off, he can't stay out of jail. He definitly has the talent to be up there with the greats, I consider him one of the greats, but seem like he has the same problem as dmx they can't stay off the drugs or out the hood. For meek to come out swingin like that over beans is blasphemy too me, then again I guess that's the way the dice of life rolls
