It is painful to work or go to school with someone who talks about eating/what they ate/what you should eat or do to work out all day. We get it, you are healthy.

I liked both, and I am not just spouting....I went and checked imdb and I have seen every Will Smith movie since forever, and I just can't say "great" movie to any of them. Some are good and some really good, but a lot of them are movie theater movies, not ones I would rewatch 30 times on tv.

This is pretty much what I was trying to say. Ali is the reason I said 10 because I thought he was great in that. I just think Denzel can propel a movie on his own and Will is just a star in a big budget film.
 
His performance here is almost EXACTLY like denzel...but dat vulnerability at the end tho.

I never saw will as a great actor.

This scene hits home to people more then his actual acting.

Check out Denzel's Glory "whipping" scene.
 
Tom Cruise is always Tom Cruise though. I think he likes it that way that's why he typically has producer credit.

Not in Tropic Thunder though :pimp:

Anything that can be a hit Cruise will play Cruise, apparently the directors, producers, and writers want it that way. Cruise is a good actor, it's just that he gets written to type based off what he got popular for. So you won't see Tom Cruise as the ugly loser or guy with no confidence.

Get a director and story that pushes thing and he's passionate about and he'd probably give you an award worthy performance.
 
Dude was dope in tropic thunder. I think he has range but rarely gets a chance to show it. At this point he doesn't have to. I used to have a coworker that would go on gay rants about TC, dude hated him with a passion.
