:rolleyes :rolleyes

Frankly, I do not believe so at all. However, I heard a friend of mine tell her sister last night that dudes these day are so big headed because of the type of music on the radio (Drake, Big Sean etc...) and the songs they have that big up themselves.

For me, at the end of the day, you can't get confidence from music, it's intrinsic. It comes from within you. An in my travels and experience I have not noticed any kind of boost in confidence or arrogance that can be attributed to music. People that I've known since childhood that were outgoing and doing they thing, still are, and people who were shy and introverted, remain so.

I understand if you in the club and a certain song comes on you might get on ya ****...but it doesn't create that aura.

Thoughts?

Music does wonders firc people's confidence...

What does hip hop have to do with that?

Literally every genre with words is gasing up their target audience....

Has nothing to do with hip hop.

I've seen many a person claim that hip-hop depresses people becuase it showcases a lifestyle that most will not achieve and rubs it in your face.

I know I wish I was ballin like Hov :smh:

I don't know. I never really felt like I gained confidence through any music genre, which was why her whole premise was wrong to me. It it's there. if not its not. No song is going to just going generate confidence out the blue.

you're different though...

Aren't you the guy that thinks nobody helped you get to where you are, or something along those lines. It was a big debate.

Not throwing shade, but that's just proving you're different (may not be you)

Go listen to Big Krits "boogie miles" and see if that don't get you some confidence.

Lil b too

Rnb been giving chicks confidence for years.

Country music does the same.

Pop music... Rock and roll to a certain degree... Alternative ...

Any music that has substance behind it.

On the flip, anti dope said it can be negative...

I see music having a huge impact on one's psyche.
