I don't think the products are flying off the shelves obviously but i sure do think they are doing a heck of a lot better than they were before
I agree.  We are almost half way through the year and so far I have bought 14 pairs of Adidas.

Mostly older releases that I wanted with a couple of new releases sprinkled in and

I still have at least 6 more pairs on my most wanted  list for this year too.

Agree based on what?  You cant just say Adidas is doing a heck of a lot better cause you bought 14 pairs of shoes.  Ill repeat my statements - Nike is pulling further ahead of Adidas, and UA is catching up.  So Adidas is doing a heck of a lot better compared to what?

They are doing better compared to their previous numbers.

If you don't recognize the growth Adidas is making you are turning a blind eye.
People look toward the numbers like they are supposed to jump and be on top but what they are doing is building heir foundation in the U.S And it starts in he mind of the consumer. Adidas is becoming a very competing brand by puting out great products. The fact that he bought 14 pairs shows the mindset is changing and Adidas is no longer a secondary brand. It is going to take a long time for them to catch up to Nike but with continuous growth they will become competitive. People are wearing Adidas a lot more nowadays and the perception is changing rapidly.

I never understood why people have brand loyalty. The more competitors the better for the consumer.

Update (May 16th): we have acquired a retailer’s June 2015 release date calendar and have confirmed that on June 27th, the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost Low will be releasing and not the original 750 Boost.

But what you are describing is NOT happening.  Ok yes, they made more money in the US but as I said, and Ill repeat it one more time, and you can go validate this info yourself if you want to go take a look at the financials.

Nike has continued to pull further ahead than Adidas, and UA has cut the gap between themselves and Adidas.  They all made money, but UA and Nike are still growing faster.  I repeat, Adidas messed up with this launch and missed an opportunity

lol I'll speak on it a little now...

That date is not set in stone for the low

It's been a tentative date for a few weeks now though

It could very well end up being the date though

Issue is international shipping has been rather slow so that's why it's not announced yet

speak just a little more.. very limited like the 750?

Wonder if both colourways releasing at the same time, and whether will it be a simultaneous worldwide release.
If theres only 1000 pairs to go around does it matter

Told you cats to be patient months ago....

For those of you paying $3k for these...didnt you realize that Footlocker and Adidas Retail locations (outside of NYC) NEVER saw stock????

Didnt you question that???

I guess we just gotta go back to being patient like we were told.....

When I said "I agree" it was to the point that they are doing better than before.

Meaning they actually have more popular shoes than their old classics

and they are even updating the classics with bolder colors.

The ZX Flux, SL Loop, Tubular,  2 Good 2 Be True Top Ten Hi, Big Sean Forum, Yeezy Boost, Boost in general are all

nice releases and only 1 of those releases is not a new model too.

I understand that they are far from Nike when it comes down to $$$, but at least they are making an effort.

I never thought Adidas would have so much to offer and the icing on the cake is the prices and availability.

So when I say they are doing better than before it is in regards to what they have to offer compared to previous years.

So I was talking about the Adidas brand in its own little bubble.

The whole market moved up due to better economy. Can't really say yeezy helped.
Nah in sneakerhead land 1 limited shoe trumps the like the entire non niche market of adidas products.

Or the handful of colored stan smiths no one knew about besides the people looking for them in limited numbers.

Adidas has plenty of cash cows and they using collaborations and such to seal the deal and bring their brand into the buzz highlight.

The returns customers made on the yeezys is more then they made.

Adidas is doing better, they're a challenger brand with a hold in specific markets and are reaching out.

Nikes leader and is doing their same limited thing to stay in niche markets heads and have been pressing hard on women because they're afraid Under Armor is more appealing to woman along with Lululemon and then we have the rebranded reebok

The money isn't in these limited releases, its in your girls friends yoga pants and the rise in work out culture and sportswear in fashion.

UB in white in womens sizes are still available for pre order if anyone is interested. I was looking for a good workout shoe and thinking about buying them. Anyone used these as workout shoe? If so, how is the comfort?

I think there's a boost thread, that'd be your best bet for an accurate response.

so...

got to actually hold a sample today

some things to note...

the shoe is REALLY soft

its legit cloth like to the touch

so ankle support is out the window

even tied tightly

in fact the main support is from the laces from what im told(sample was not my size couldnt try it on)

super comfy which i expected from the boost material alone but as soft as the shoe cloth is this is like some house slipper comfy lol

also some things that stood out on the sample

bottoms are NOT 2 toned

those "early pics" aka fakes have that 2 tone color white and like an off white slight yellow at the heel and forefoot

sample does not have that at all just all white

also on the in steps one side has a adidas logo other has the "YZY" logo and it sits rather high on the in step

i seen "early" pairs with just the YZY on both sides and it sitting damn near where the sole connects

when i asked about the retail price they said it will be likely priced at $220 box price but its not set in stone could be more or less

Thanks you for the info. So....are these going to be more available than the 750? As in releasing in retail chains like has been stated? Being that these are made of almost all cloth, getting the sizing correct will be a challenge. I go .5 down in flyknits because of materials used...a cloth material will be harder to lock down unless you can walk into a brick and mortar to try these on. With the issues in sizing of the 750 this could be a pain locking down your size.

missed opportunity but all i see is kanye west got the biggest fash
