Bots are useless since Adidas will def change the purchase process.

Manual or bust.

This is how I lost :smh:

I was on top of it.. planned to checkout with PayPal and they didn't allow PayPal smh.. and out of all things, I got a new Debit that weekend so I didn't have my wallet near me or info memorized. :x

i have 4 different CC's saved on my Chrome Auto-Fill. No paypal? No problem.

Ended up getting 2 additional pairs from ADC.

Adidas is ensuring that it's the fairest way to get them. Captcha + no PayPal ahead of time.

Stick to the tried and true methods of regular shopping  only wild card is the random time. Just gonna have to dedicate a whole day or two to grab them lmao

yeah no kidding, I had like 2 hrs of sleep those 2 days. Struck out on every site that released that day  starting with Barney's at like 12AM, followed by all the DSM's, Shiek, Pacsun, FNL, FTL family, finally scored on ADC around 11am.

I don't understand how no PayPal adds to fairness, it's just inconvenient.

The only reason I can see them deciding PayPal isn't a good idea is because it's another point of failure during checkout if the site crashes.

I don't even know where he's getting his sources from. Shouldn't be stating it like it's facts If it's just an assumption.

Exactly my day  if you like back, you could tell I was bitter until that Adidas release. Told the entire thread I hated them

You can access the PayPal screen beforehand if you know what you're doing. And have all your info prefilled

wait, so using paypal isn't a good option? I used it for the turtles but i copped off that "Restock" link later in the day

PayPal is never a good option IMO. Card only for me.

Too many times people have been burned by PayPal. It requires logging into another site and then back to the retailer. Two extra steps.

CC + chrome auto fill. I also have a word doc with all my info ready to be copy and pasted just in case.

Yall overthink this too much

makes sense. I always felt paypal was quicker for me, but if you go with your steps, I see why paypal might not be a good option.

Never really thought about putting all the info on a word document. Kind of genius

sometimes paypal is good because if your order didn't go through but got a paypal charge or pending charge, they're quick to reverse it and give your money back.

BUT, I've also been burned by Paypal when they send me confirmation emails or emails stating I paid the merchant. I think I'm good so I just chill for the rest of the day.. the merchant never got the order and no confirmation order from that retailer. And like mentioned above, the extra steps to be redirected to paypal login, confirm info on paypal, hit submit on paypal, and redirect back to the merchant's final checkout or order summary page.. a lot can happen in that time period/multiple pages. I still use paypal though for some purchases but I've struck out on several items because of paypal.

Most stores are getting 12 pair.Thats boutiques tho.Adidas flagship about 200 pair.Mall stores 8 pair due to employees entitled to 20% of the release. The blacks smash the turtles
My local champs got 30 pairs of turtle doves. Employees got 10% though so only the 3 managers got pairs. And they handed out guaranteed tickets for them.

Red diddy joints would be a dream come true.Nyc and other big stores get 24 to 48.small towns get 8-24 pair max.trust me i invaded every city last 350 drop

I always thought PayPal was fastest, just because its a separate website, so their servers rarely get slow or crash.. and you also pay on PayPal, at the end all it does is redirect you to adidas for a receipt.. idk how thats extra steps ?

No, once you're redirected to Paypal, you have to login, then you have to confirm your info (address and your paypal payment method), then you hit submit on paypal, then it redirects you back to Adidas to confirm and submit your order. I just tried this on a pair of boosts.

And in general (not just adidas), sometimes theres that extra step of being redirected to the merchant to submit your order. Sometimes there isn't and you check out right on Paypal.
