Have you ever purchased off finishline? CC never go through on a RD. PayPal is the only way. I'm not too familiar with how pending charges, chargeback, or things like that work but if you're using PayPal you can dispute it through PayPal instead of your CC which is a lot easier. That's why they probably said not to use PayPal.

Here's a pro tip.

I just called my bank telling them that I'm going to have (hopefully) multiple purchases tomorrow from different online retailers so not to pass anything as fraudulent activity. I got screwed a few times, especially with finishline because of that. I would use PayPal for FNL.
