Yeah, just pointing out that for the raffle they only had 10 available to sell. They might have had more allocated and not telling people but for the sake of the raffle they are only giving away a shot at purchasing 10 pairs.

how risky is it to just flat out say in your listing "message me for invoice" or something like that? I see that sometimes but seems like an easy way to get ebay to close your account

its not a flawed argument. at the very least I'm going off what retailers are saying. What are you basing yours off of? 50 pairs in 1 spot still makes them limited. that barely 5 size runs. 100 pairs in one spots isnt a geneal release either. when multiple places are sitting on 100+ pairs THEN theyre not limited. whether something is limited or not isnt up to OUR speculation. If you think adidas doesnt have teams of people doing market research you have no idea how a business is run. Adidas, Nike, Jordan Brand has every ability to satisfy demand. They make millions of shoes a year. When they cut off production (aka LIMITING QUANTITY), KNOWING what the demand is like that is a LIMITED release. theres is no magic number that makes a shoe limited.
honestly never done it as seller, but think you only run into issues if someone reports your listing. don't think they monitor that actively.
