Hes probably not lying because the page was still up with sizes grey'd out. They probably canceled some double orders or those where payments never went through and threw a pair back on the site and he got it. Now the webpage shows sold out. No more size drop down.

Regardless if its a $200 shoe, the price I paid for that specific size compared to market value is great. If it comes down to analyzing retail price for limited items, we all end up paying a premium at some point. Comes down to affordability and willingness to pay and differ's person to person. 
 
didn't see it yesterday cause i was at work but around 4 i got the your order has left the building email from adc

super relived cause other people had got the email before this & i saw a few cancellations on the size 11 so it had me a lil sweaty

supposed to be here tomorrow, (my day off) 

it's crazy how even if you get thru, you get the conf. email, the shoes ship, you still have to worry about nosy mailmen/ employees at sorting sites

the horror tales in here for the TD

FYI - I didn't cop more than 1 pair off SSENSE. If I did, I would risk my order being cancelled...
