I'm not a huge fan of the Yeezy Season 1 or 2 collection but then again I rarely like the entire collection from any high end fashion designer, just a few pieces which is the same with the Yeezy collection.

On another note I think people up here need to understand what they're looking at when they look at the Yeezy line and understand a high fashion show premier. Majority of the time high fashion shows are over the top styles that a lot of people wouldn't wear on a day to day bases. So Kanye isn't doing anything worst or better for the most part IMO because his clothing line falls in line to outer designers you would see in a fashion show.

Lastly people need to realize there's a difference between Kanye unveiling the Yeezy Season 2 line than an unveiling of 2015 Fall/Winter Supreme line. Those are two completely different target audiences and styles of fashion.

Everyone keeps footing it on adidas, but I'm suspicious of that.

The owens, y-3, AND simons lines are all more easily available (the ozweego etc) all 3 have gained serious traction lately yet still are hyped, still sell out, get restocked, and even have models go on clearance each season.

I'm really having a hard time putting on my poor kanye shades here when it comes to that.

The boost technology is all over, from adidas own high end outside of kanye down to their outlets.

There's one common element, you have nike a mega-house thats dominating sportwear

you have adidas, who's struggling and needs to do anything to not just keep reputation up but sales, and has successfully upkept relations with 3(more for sure, but lets use these 3) high end designers with more affordable collaborations.

Then you have mr west.
Well he said that it was adidas who made the final call on the scope of the line in response to public complaint of how limited the first 750 release was.

other high end designers aren't screaming up and down that they want to bring high end fashion to everyone. not high end fashion for those who can afford it.

I agree - said the same thing when people were complaining about season 1.

It seems many have never been to a fashion show or seen one. Givenchy, Rick Owens, JunnJ, and a bunch of others always have weird fits.

That said, destroyed clothing is very popular right now especially in high fashion so this line falls in that category. Not everyone will wear will buy these pieces triple the size but I wouldn't be surprised to see the hoodies, sweaters, etc sell out quiickly and ppl wear them nicely with a good fit and size (NOT this crazy over-sized fit which is only done for the runway to show off the piece)

This.

Furthermore, these shows are used to showcase the designers vision. Most of these pieces will not make it to stores or eventually get modified before release. As we seen with YZY SZN 1.

This is the only thing that matters at these shows..

You all are bickering about clothes..

Just look at the mass.

This just shows Kanye is no real designer. He has a vision and a taste for fashion that is undeniable, but what he has first and foremost is hype.
He can land hits when he works with companies like Nike, A.P.C and Adidas where he most likely tells them his vision and then REAL designers work on it. But left on his own we get these end-of-the-world clothes which are not special in any way. He is no designer, he just gets away with a lot of ****.

Since the second Season isn´t done with Adidas I´m very interested if the prices will fall. If he comes out with 200 dollar plain Ts again then every excuse of "he didn´t lie, adidas makes the pricing" is out of the window.

Still like the black boosts though

A lot of dudes are over-reacting and need to put there common sense hat back on...

First...stop comparing the Kanye line to YSL or Balmain or any other high end fashion line..cause this ain't that...this needs to be in the same lane as the Jeremy Scott collection and as the Pharrell collection with Adidas...all three were allowed to create...with sneakers being the focal point but still they had the ability to create pieces in furtherance of the footwear....

Now..MOST of the pieces were NOT massed produced...to put it simply most were not produced at all...Jeremy Scott's first line I believe had 10 pieces that actually saw distribution...I specifically remember the Gold Winged Jacket, which retailed at $1000...I purchased (God knows why) for my girl for $40 in an Adidas outlet 12 months later...just recently purchased one of Pharrels all leather jackets for $100 (retail $1600)...

Second...Adidas ain't stupid...in much the same way people LIKE Scotts wings...his bull fighting pants for $700...yea not so much...so as time goes you will see more and more of focus on the footwear and less and less of the clothes....Especially if they don't sell....Adidas understands they are a sneaker company that sells clothes...not a clothing company selling sneakers...and that's a HUGE difference....

Lastly...its Yeezy season 2...I've yet to see any clothes from Kanye on a rack for sale from Yeezy 1....yet I've had an opportunity to purchase 3 pairs of sneakers worldwide....and I'm sure the 350 are coming and so are the Boots....why you think that is???? Cause Adidas is waiting for everyone to get there money right??? Come on...don't make sense to throw good money after bad...they will start with a few pieces to see what happenes...but much like the rest expect to see them heavily discounted after winter in an outlet near you...

That sounds all well and good but kanye has a cult folllowing like no other super star. Anything remotely connected to him SELLS OUT.
