Looks like Adidas either doesn't reserve carts or it doesn't reserve them for very long.

So what's happening is that Paypal is OK'ing the transaction and passing the parameters back to Adidas through the URL via POST.    On the way back the POST was getting held up by the server being hammered.  It was pretty much the luck of the draw.  If there was an open socket at the time you got through....if not.  Nope.

By the time the token finally went through the pair you had in your cart were probably gone.

Those who opened up that success URL in a bunch of tabs EARLY in the game probably were able to cop.

makes sense.. I was keeping faith like I always do with anything in life but like some said before I think the pairs were long gone

adidas was just trying to see how long you guys would keep clicking. these sold out within the first 30 mins, no joke.

I getwhat you mean tho, the pairs in the carts weren't really there, we just figured they were

guys its all a marketing scheme.....they had that sold out banner made and ready for months. its all about the game. we are all being played.
 
I tried to get greedy and get another pair grateful I got lucky with the release through the adidas app. But this online one was horrible
