love hearing these resell price success stories.

but this is proving my point.

every one of us who dropped that resell $ at the time was like

but we did it because we wanted the shoe.

if you want these boosts as bad as some of you are complaining day in and say out just drop the money. the happiness of the purchase will be worth it if youre one of those people beating youself up over this release.

maybe some of these posts will help most of you realize that no matter how many pairs you think will be available, a lot of people had no choice but to just pay resell for that yeezy shoe.

some of you sound like you feel like a victim of the resell market when youre clearly not alone if you go ahead with it .
Going to what you said bro... When I tried to check out i was paying $400 with tax and shipping anyway. So my mindset is completely different from Nike release where it was $100 cheaper. So paying 1k isnt as bad if that makes sense lol...

**** making me think they're not dropping in the U.S besides the boutiques that are doing raffles and or backdoor sales.

not saying you, but people REALLY underestimate the amount of LUCK it takes to get a Kanye shoe for retail.

If its something you really want youre going to have to pay over retail but finding a good price.

i got the zen grey yeezy 1s the day they dropped. and i paid some kid $420 walking out of the door with them. retail was $215 at the time.

i got the boosts the day they dropped/were picked up. i paid some kid $700 for them.

sounds so corny, but yeezys are really close to a stock. you have to jump on a good price and almost put in your mind youll never get them for that "suggested" retail, unless you are very lucky or have connections that youve spent a good amount of money over time to acquire.

I just know better then to jump through hoops to try and get a sneaker nowadays

There will always be others, yeezys are far from the best sneakers out there, they're just the most hyped

I'm the guy that tries to keep durability in mind when making most sneaker purchases and even more so when I have to go the resale route. I got the Zen and Net Yeezys during the summer of 2009 when they had first released for $600 each. My limit at that time.

However, keeping in mind both Y1 and Y2 have PU midsoles that have a very limited lifespan, how can y'all drop $1k+ knowing those Yeezys will have crumbling midsoles in a matter of time? At least with the Yeezy Boost they have a rubber sole that wraps to a midsole and you get more longevity on your purchase.

I think the 750 boost looks better than the Yeezy 1s, I like how Kanye went for a more high fashion look.

Thought I was the only one here that thought tihis, but I also don't like any of this other Yeezys. This is the only pair I like, I don't like the lows either. I like high fashion sneakers and these fit the bill.

This. If you're not willing to drop more than retail for these, then you probably didn't want them all that much anyway. Like a member said, the value of these will eventually go up, could be 1 year, could be 5 years. If you don't strike when it's flooded, you're going to regret it when the asking price is twice what it is now.

The hypebeast is strong with y'all in here.

Acting like here won't be another release

I am no hype beast, I don't have a single pair of Nikes or Adidas in my closet. I'm just going off of current market value. Would I pay over $400? No, but that's doesn't mean the shoes aren't valued at over $400.
